Nomi Hotel
"The location of this hotel and the room quality for the price are amazing! It’s located right next to a metro station which is only one stop away from the central square, and from there you can take another metro line to orange island or to the railway stations - so this is very handy. The hotel is near lots of places to eat/shop, and the view from the hotel is nice. The room was nicely furnished, had automated controls for all of the electronics/curtains, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was not the most expansive, but was tasty. All of these positive attributes were unfortunately somewhat let down by the service, which although incredibly friendly, was certainly unorganised. To begin with, we arrived at 2:30pm for a 2pm check in time, so that we could go out to explore. Unfortunately, we were told the room was not ready, and that we were to come back in an hour, when it would be ready. Given that we were only staying for one night, this significantly altered our plans - but they did at least allow us to leave our bags. However, upon returning around 4pm, we were told that our room was still not ready. Despite the staff being very friendly, not much of an apology/compensation was given. Therefore, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in the lobby for the room to be ready. Once we were told to head up, we arrived to a wet floor. Whilst this didn’t take too much longer to dry, it was another inconvenience - and all of these piled up to essentially waste our planned afternoon in Changsha. Unfortunately, there were further issues later that day. We had some laundry to clean+dry, and so decided to make use of the hotel facilities. We were quite happy to load the washing machines ourselves, but after doing so, we were told that they would handle the drying for us - great! However, if we had known how long this process would have taken, we would never have accepted. We initially thought we could come back to collect our clothes 2 hours later - a standard time for 30min wash + drying (dryers were all free at the time) - so we returned at about 7pm. However, it was clear that they had forgotten about our (or perhaps other customer’s) washing, as they ran to the machines to move things around, and told us it would be another 2 hours to dry, and then we would be able to collect our clothes afterwards from reception. As a result, we decided to head out for the evening, a planning to return later to collect. At about 12pm, we returned from the evening, obviously expecting the drying to be finished (as we were told we could collect it at 9pm). However, after the staff once again ran to the laundry room (clearly having forgotten about them), we were told they were still not ready and that there was a queue. We completely understand that given the size of the hotel, we would potentially have to wait longer - but the fact we were initially told that it would be ready at 9pm is what made this frustrating, and that it seemed very unorganised. As we were leaving the next morning, we had to stay up late to guarantee the drying would be ready, and so it was only past 1am in the morning we received them back (despite the laundry room being empty at 5pm). Overall, whilst the room was nice and the location was great, these issues significantly impacted our stay (especially due to just being there for one night)."
Ramada Changsha Yuelu Hotel
"I was very happy with the room. I came to Changsha for business and stayed for many days. The hotel service was very warm and welcoming. The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite the subway station which has a direct line to Helong Sports Center and Yuelu Mountain. The breakfast had a great variety. Five-star rating!"
Luxi Hotel (Changsha Wuyi Square Taiping Old Street)
"The location is excellent, right at the north entrance of Taiping Street. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and very convenient for transport. Downstairs, there's a commercial street with all kinds of food options. Highly recommended! 👍🏻"
Atour Hotel at Changsha IFS Metro Station
"I'm vary happy with my stay here. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The facilities are great. The room is big, clean, comfort, new, and quiet even my room is at level 3. Nothing is perfect, I felt a bit disturbing with their room temperature control as being told by the staff the temperature is control by the building as they are using centralised system. They have an in-house laundry room for guest only and it is free. You can leave your dirty clothes here and their staff will help to arrange the laundry based on your request. After having all the hunan food, if you wish to do some exercise, you may try their gym room as well. Overall the staying experience here is good and for all the foreigners out there, you may come to try for yourself. I am from overseas and this is my first time staying at Atour. I will make sure my next trip will still choosing Atour."
Meixi Lake Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha
"We stayed at this hotel because we were seeing a show at the Meixi Lake Grand Theatre, and it's super convenient – just a five-minute walk away. They called us a day before to confirm our booking and Marriott Bonvoy account, which was great. However, when we got to the front desk, they told us the room type we booked wasn't available. They offered an upgrade but with an extra rollaway bed, which wasn't ideal for friends traveling together – a king bed and a small extra bed isn't really suitable. Thankfully, they resolved the issue in the end, but for a Marriott property that confirmed our booking in advance, not having the booked room type available was a bit surprising. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, not like those central systems that can be hit or miss. Breakfast officially goes until 10:30 AM, but the noodle station was already closed by 10 AM. Also, it has some common Marriott chain issues like poor soundproofing on the doors and no screen mirroring for the TV."
Howard Johnson Aisya Wuyi Square Changsha
"The front desk staff were incredibly innovative, warm, and attentive. They were always smiling and full of energy, which is why I've returned for another stay! This is a great hotel with excellent staff and service, highly recommended!"
Changsha Xiangjiang Hotel 1968
"Had a truly wonderful stay! The service was exceptional throughout and a special mention to the receptionist, 小姚, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive — really made the experience even more memorable. All the amenities were well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, making the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality. Overall, a fantastic experience!"
Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Furongguo Changsha
"The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable! The service was incredibly thoughtful. After communicating with the front desk, they provided children's amenities, an extra duvet, and even some snacks for the little one. It's about a 10-minute walk to Snack Kingdom, which was really convenient. Also, IFS, Duzheng Street, and Dongmao Street are all within a 10-minute walk. It's perfect for families with kids, and there's no parking hassle either!"
Mehood Elegant Hotel Changsha
"Extremely satisfied with my stay, highly recommend it. The sleep was incredibly comfortable, I'll definitely be back."
Pearl River Garden Hotel Changsha
"clean warm highly recommended!"
DoALand M+ Hotel (Wuyi Square IFS International Finance Center Branch)
"After comparing several options, I chose this hotel. It was very clean, and they gave us a small dessert every day. They even gave us a little gift when we left, which was a really nice touch. The hotel is located right above a snack street and very close to the subway entrance, making it super convenient. A great choice!"
Changsha Yuelu Yannian Yijing Hotel
"Decent hotel. Walking distance to mrt. There is a 3rd party operated gym and swimming pool within the hotel. Overall is good. Only downside is the lift is accessible by public to all room and a lot of smoker inside the lift."
Wyndham Changsha Yanghu Hotel
"The hotel environment is clean and grand, with a stylish lobby and rooms that create a wonderful atmosphere. The location is superb, right next to all the major attractions in Yanghu. Whether you want to explore the park during the day or the Water Street at night, everything is just a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient."
World Hotel Grand Jia Xing Yuelu Changsha
"Let's go on a spontaneous trip, the destination is Changsha Geographic location: The hotel is very convenient to the subway station and May Day Square. It is recommended that everyone take the subway to Changsha. It is very convenient Service attitude: The room was booked temporarily. I didn't expect that there would be such a treasure hotel in Changsha. The price-performance ratio is really good. Not only is the price right, but the hotel service staff is very good. Special thanks to Manager Tian for arranging a twin room with a spacious area and arranging it on the same floor for my family. It is thoughtful Facilities and environment: It is very convenient to eat around the hotel In short, this trip was tiring but happy. I like the hotel service."
YANNIAN INTERCITY HOTEL
"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Changsha South Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around. You can also reach Metro Line 4 within a few hundred meters, which is great for visiting attractions like Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, or food hotspots like Wuyi Square and Nanmenkou. The hotel's cleanliness was also excellent; I especially appreciated the separate toilet, shower, and vanity areas – very thoughtful. The breakfast selection was quite good, and I particularly enjoyed the noodles – the broth was fresh and delicious. Since I had an early train at 7 AM, the hotel even thoughtfully prepared a convenient breakfast for early departures, which was a first for me and incredibly heartwarming. The staff were also very welcoming. All in all, this stay was perfect!"
Lead-Goal Premier Hotel
"Overall, I was very satisfied. The location is excellent; being right opposite the military district provided a great sense of security. Downstairs, there are buses that go to places like Binhe Road, and the subway is just a few minutes' walk away. The rice noodles at breakfast were delicious – I ate them every day during my stay. The hotel also provides a dining voucher, and I only found out after checking that the restaurant on the second floor is actually a popular spot. Their chopped chili fish head was the best I had during my four days in Changsha... The only downside is the poor soundproofing; there were noisy kids upstairs jumping around late at night."
Changsha North Star International Hotel
"Facilities: Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleanliness: Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Environment: Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, even including egg-fermented rice wine and roasted sweet potatoes. Thanks to a complimentary upgrade, we were given a river-view room with a stunning view 👍. Since we had a late flight, we specifically went to the 39th floor to enjoy afternoon tea after checking out. The afternoon tea for 178 for two people was definitely worth it. The pastries were delicious, and the scenery was pleasant."
Wyndham Garden Changsha Yuelu
"Iris at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is super convenient with direct subway access to Wuyi Square, Juzizhou, and Changsha South Station. I had a great experience staying here during the May Day holiday. The facilities are comprehensive, and overall, it was a very pleasant stay."
Exotic W Hotel
"The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, keeping out all the noise. The design features a wonderful blend of multicultural elements. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel's proximity to tourist attractions is a huge plus. Highly recommended!"
