afeide6The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the IFC. You can see the IFC from the hotel window. It's a 2-minute walk to Huangxing Pedestrian Street and a 5-minute walk to Taiping Street and Pozi Street. Popular spots like Cha Yan Yue Se and Black Classic are right downstairs, making shopping incredibly convenient.
The room is clean and smart, and the front desk offers 24-hour service, which is warm and attentive. Check-in was quick and easy. They even called the day before to remind me of important details, which was very thoughtful. They have robot delivery service, a 24-hour gym, and self-service laundry, all of which are very convenient. Plus, the breakfast is plentiful!

We specifically chose Wanda Vista for our summer vacation in Changsha, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel boasts an amazing riverside view; you can watch the Xiang River sunset from the bathtub by the window. The custom mattress was soft and helped me sleep soundly, and the floor-to-ceiling windows effectively blocked out street noise, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Concierge Jackwen was incredibly thoughtful; he proactively brought us water and tissues when he saw us with snacks, and even recommended a noodle shop popular with locals. The freshly made Hunan-style rice noodles for breakfast were authentic, and the in-room toiletries were high-quality with a lovely scent. It's only a ten-minute walk to the subway, making it convenient to get to Orange Isle. The service is full of thoughtful touches. This is definitely my top choice hotel in Changsha!

Anonymous UserThe hotel's location is quite easy to find; you can spot the sign right from the entrance of Taiping Street. However, the actual hotel entrance is down a very dim alley, and water keeps dripping from the building next door, making it hard to avoid when walking by. Once inside, it feels like the hotel has been around for a while, and the elevator is a bit old. Getting a good room seems to be a matter of luck. My room had absolutely no window view, and with obstructions outside, the natural light wasn't great either. The humidity in the room was pretty extreme; the floor would stay wet for ages after housekeeping, and pants I'd dampened the day before wouldn't dry even after half a day in the air-conditioned room, extending into the next afternoon.
There are no USB charging ports in the room, so if you have multiple devices, you'll need to bring enough adapters. Also, the bedside outlets aren't sufficient, and the placement of the sofa, desk, and outlets is awkward, making it inconvenient to use a laptop unless you're working curled up by the bed. So, for those who need to work, I wouldn't really recommend it.
There's no single switch to control all the lights in the room, so you have to turn them off one by one. The bedside switches also lack any labels, so you have to try them all to figure out what they do. The lighting in the room itself didn't feel bright enough, and the light sources were uneven, making it insufficient for applying makeup. Unlike other electrical appliances, the air conditioning doesn't turn on automatically when you insert your room card; you have to manually switch it on every time you enter the room.
Even though the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the sliding door is single-paneled, meaning only one side can be closed. If you slide it all the way to one side, there's no door on the other. Also, the sink is quite shallow, so water splashes everywhere if the water pressure is high or you're washing something. There were also quite a few white stains in the nooks and crannies of the bathroom, possibly from years of use, which didn't look very hygienic. Both the wooden and concrete walls in the room were pitted and stained, and the sofa cover also had dirt on it. These things don't affect the functionality of the stay but are psychologically off-putting. However, the guest experience is often heavily influenced by these tiny details. A small suggestion: if they renovate in the future, I'd recommend using lighter shades like grey for the floor tiles and walls, and darker colors for fabric items like sofa covers, as they hide dirt better and look more refined. The black tiles at the entrance and in the bathroom really show every speck of dirt... Compared to other hotels, it might not be truly dirty, but visually, it's a big disadvantage.
I had high expectations because I really liked the decor style shown in the online photos, but my stay was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the complimentary amenity kit included cotton pads (which I didn't get at Atour where I stayed a few days prior, and most hotels don't provide them). Also, the service was attentive and responsive, and the staff even helped with washing and drying clothes (which deserves a big shout-out; they even folded them neatly after they were dry, sniff). But! I booked for three days in total, and after staying one night, I discovered the price for the same room type on the platform for the same period dropped by over 50 yuan per night! Infuriating!!!

liuyihao2000This is my third consecutive year staying at this hotel in Changsha. The location is absolutely fantastic, within walking distance to Wuyi Square, Pozi Street, Taiping Old Street, Du Fu River Pavilion, and right downstairs is the famous Wenheyou. The service is incredibly warm, from the greeters, front desk, and restaurant staff to housekeeping, especially Penny at the Executive Lounge. The first time we met, I only gave her my room number, and she immediately knew my surname, which made me feel right at home. The facilities are excellent; the rooms are very spacious. As a landmark building by the river, the views are expansive. Soaking in the tub or enjoying some tea while overlooking Orange Isle and the distant Yuelu Mountain is truly delightful. The room decor is cozy, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is great. I had a wonderful weekend in Changsha.

Anonymous UserWe were a party of three, but the booking only included two breakfasts. When we checked in, I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk, and she kindly gave us an extra breakfast, so big props to her! The room was really suitable for us, spacious and bright with all the facilities we needed. The only minor issue was a slight musty smell due to continuous rain, but airing out the room fixed it right up. All in all, we were very satisfied!

The guest room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Y, at the front desk, provided meticulous and thoughtful service; they were gentle, polite, and responded promptly and considerately. Professionalism was evident in every detail. The dining quality was excellent, and the facilities were comprehensive. My entire stay was relaxed and comfortable, with convenient access to everything. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Traveling with kids during the Spring Festival, we stayed in four hotels in total, and this one surprisingly turned out to be the best. Our room was riverside, quite spacious, and had a nice view. It was also surprisingly quiet, with good soundproofing – at least I didn't hear any crying kids.
It's easy to hail a taxi downstairs. Chaozong Street and the subway station are just a five-minute walk away, Pozi Street is a ten-minute walk, and Wenheyou is a fifteen-minute walk.
The hotel breakfast was just average. If it's included in the room rate, it's fine, but paying 40 yuan per person separately isn't worth it.
There are many noodle shops nearby, all of which are very good. Downstairs, there's a free shuttle bus to the Provincial Museum every half hour, which is quite convenient.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's conveniently located right next to a subway entrance, making transportation super easy. The room facilities are quite new, and the hygiene conditions are good. Definitely worth recommending! The front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. When you're traveling, all you really want is comfort and ease of communication, and this place delivers on that perfectly.

This is my second time staying here in Changsha, and I'm very grateful the hotel upgraded me to a larger room! The toilet flush didn't work every time, and the bathroom walls and window sills looked a bit old; I'd suggest they be updated. The breakfast was plentiful, but finishing by 10 AM felt a bit rushed. It's great that there's a pool, though I recommend bringing your own swimming cap. It's a bit of a distance from the subway station, so taking a taxi is more convenient.
