2-Star Hotels in Changsha

This guesthouse is located inside the 'Yingshang International Hotel' building, about a 10-minute walk from IFS (International Finance Square). The location is pretty good, but the guesthouse's security is a bit lacking, as anyone can access the floors. The main draw is that it's cheap and the rooms are spacious. Just make sure that when you're using navigation, you set your drop-off point to 'Sen. Bolai Hotel'; from there, it's only a minute and a half walk to the entrance. Otherwise, you'll have to walk a long and difficult path from the other side of the building, going through a construction zone, which resulted in my shoes and luggage getting covered in yellow mud (it was the rainy season when I visited). The room itself was quite clean, but the hot water system for the shower is a residential-style one. If multiple people are staying in the same room, you can't shower freely. After one person uses it, the next person has to wait a long time, which made showering feel stressful.

The B&B has a wonderful environment, and the lounge areas on each floor are beautiful. It's super close to all the attractions; the subway is usually just one or two stops away, so you can get there in about ten minutes. The room was spotlessly clean and tidied every day, and the bedding was also very clean. The Wi-Fi was fast, and there was plenty of hot water for showers, making for a great stay. Downstairs, there's a snack street with tons of food options – breakfast, takeout, and late-night snacks were all plentiful. The owner was also very warm and thoughtful, providing excellent service. I super, super, super recommend it!! ヽ(=^･ω･^=)丿 I had such a fun time!

The apartment come with 2 rooms, living hall, kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Located in the core business district of Wuyi Square, which is very convenient for travel. Sorrounding has many malls and resturants. The host is very nice and helpful. We bought many parcels online and come in different days, the host helped to contact delivery man to receive parcels for us. Recommend to stay here.

My first impression upon arriving was great. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient with the check-in process. They also proactively offered information about nearby dining and attractions, and patiently answered all my questions. Their detailed and thoughtful service really enhanced my stay, big kudos to the front desk!

Location: The location is pretty good, with Pozi Street and Huangxing Square just a few hundred meters away, making it very convenient to walk to. Butler Service: It was raining heavily and I came back cold and wet that evening. The front desk even offered me a cup of hot water, which was so thoughtful and really warmed my heart! 😁 Environment: The soundproofing in the room is decent. The front desk also provides laundry detergent if you need it, and there's a washing machine and dryer available.

The room decor is simple yet elegant. The cleanliness was meticulous, with the floors and windowsills spotless and free of dust or odors. The mattress was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were in perfect working order, and the ventilation was excellent, quickly dispelling moisture after showering. The in-room Wi-Fi was stable, suitable for temporary work. The hotel's location is great, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and other amenities nearby. This room type doesn't include breakfast, but there are numerous snack shops and breakfast places downstairs, offering a wide variety of choices. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was straightforward. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I'd choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The location is convenient, about a 6-minute walk from the subway exit. It's clean, and the front desk staff and the auntie were very friendly. It was also quiet at night, which was good for sleeping. Getting to the hotel directly from the airport was easy with no transfers needed, and once I exited the subway, I found it in just a few minutes.

The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!

Room was modern and clean with great ducted heating. Can check in early for an additional fee if you wish. Daily housekeeping provided everyday, microwave, washing machine, dryer and detergent free for guest use. Lots of good local food on both streets either side of the building. The room had floor to ceiling windows that opened to the outside hallway so you couldn’t have them open which meant no natural light. Girl at reception (day/morning time) was unfriendly and seemed annoyed anytime you asked for help.

Entrance and lift to the right tower was a little hard to find initially, especially for us who don't understand much Chinese and lift change to a different tower is required. Written instruction would've been useful. Room is ok, very low ceiling, nearly touched our head. Very cramped and not as spacious and nice as in photo. Lots of marks and scratches on the floor. Shower area is not clean, hair from previous stay still there. Our washing machine was broken. It couldn't be fixed in the 3 nights we stayed. The technician came on the second day and the floor was left dirty. We were offered to use the washing machine in a different unit, but with no dryer, it made it difficult. The electricity went out on our first morning and there was no power for about 3-4 hours. Then the evacuation building evacuation notice came on, twice that morning. We evacuated as that's the norm in our country. We're later told it's just a testing. It would've been nice if we were informed or there's some kind of communication on the floor. Very disruptive as we have young children. The evacuation drill happened again the next morning. We knew then to stay. The best thing about this apartment is the location. Close to all the hustle and bustle is Changsha, lots of eateries choices. On the negative side, we could hear thumping music and felt the vibration from nearby clubs until 3-4 in the morning.
