Mountain View Hotels in Changsha

Came to Changsha Meixihu for an event, and my friend highly recommended The Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha. My overall stay was excellent and definitely worth recommending. The breakfast was very rich with a wide variety of choices, and the taste was also great. Service: From the concierge to the front desk and housekeepers, everyone was outstanding. Facilities: The swimming pool and gym were both very good. They even offered bicycle riding activities with 'Xiao Bu'. The room was very clean, and the lake view from the room was beautiful.

This hotel slightly exceeded our expectations. We were a family traveling through Changsha with only one day, so location was paramount. Our reason for choosing it was straightforward: its unique position directly facing the statue of the great leader (riverside five-star hotels only offer a distant view of its back). We did have concerns that a hotel in a residential building might be like some guesthouses – looking great in photos but with mediocre hygiene. However, after staying, we found that both the bedding and toiletries were of five-star hotel quality. You really need to touch them to appreciate it; they were indeed excellent. My family was very satisfied overall. Of course, it's not without its minor flaws. The breakfast was a bit simple, and it's a bit far from the subway station, making public transport less convenient. But this is a trade-off due to its prime location – you can't have everything!

The hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭

This hotel boasts excellent decor and service. From the moment I checked in, I experienced truly attentive hospitality. It's an absolute gem of a hotel! The high-altitude views are breathtaking, with the front desk located on the 39th floor and guest rooms even higher. The hotel also features charming, retro-style entrance doors. Both the hardware and software are top-notch. Breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including freshly made 'maizi fen' noodles. The location is super convenient, very close to the city center, and there's a direct subway line to the high-speed train station. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. Every staff member has a smile, and the concierge proactively assists with luggage. The location is superb – if you're visiting Changsha, this is a must-book!

Because of the heavy snow on the 22nd, we reserved the whole place on the 21st. It was really amazing. Every scene was amazing, mainly because the dogs were so well-behaved. Plus it was snowing, it was so atmospheric. If you come here in the summer, you can call a few friends or have a company meeting. Anyway, we will come again next time. Knowing it was my birthday, she specially decorated the place and sent champagne 🍾️. She was very enthusiastic. The auntie who cooked was also very nice. She heated up the food for us the next day for fear of waste. It was a warm and cozy stay!

## Service The front desk service is exceptional; whenever I encountered an issue, they always resolved it perfectly. Manager Doris handled problems professionally and promptly. Seeing that I had two babies with me, she immediately informed housekeeping to bring us children's amenities. My kids absolutely adored her—she's amazing! ## Cleanliness The hotel rooms were spotless and tidy, with great attention to detail in their cleanliness. ## Environment This environment is perfect for families with children. There isn't much vehicle traffic, and the hotel is located within the park, making it very safe. Nearby attractions include a water park, an ice world, and an ocean kingdom, making it easy to keep kids entertained for two days without any issues. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that there are very few shops around the park, so ordering takeout is often necessary. ## Facilities It's a five-star setup, with nothing to complain about. The hotel is also very well-maintained.

Grand Hyatt was my carefully considered choice after thorough research for my trip to Changsha! I picked it for several reasons: 1. Its prime location, with stunning, unobstructed river views of Orange Isle right outside the window. Even with the rainy weather during my stay, I could enjoy the beautiful scenery without leaving. 2. The twin beds were 1.35 meters wide, which beat out other five-star hotels, haha! 3. The breakfast was excellent, especially the unique noodles. 4. The swimming pool and gym facilities were fully equipped.

This is a stunning hotel with a mind blowing view. It was also right in the heart of Chansha for shopping food and crowds. I was on the 92st floor and recommend getting the river view. The only negative was my room smelling os stale smoke when I returned in the evening, the result of no doubt someone in a room nearby smoking up a storm. This was a major disappointment for the amount I paid for my room. The afternoon reception staff were not overly welcoming but sometimes this is due to a reluctance due to not speaking English. The morning team were very courteous and spoke wonderful English. I am a loyal IHG member, but could not get a hotel in the heart of things like the Niccolo. I won't be shifting my loyalty just yet.

The hotel's environment and facilities exceeded my expectations. The whole place is clean and elegant, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and brightly lit, and they were spotlessly clean. All the facilities are new and work great; the shower, air conditioning, and TV run smoothly. There's plenty of storage space, and the detailed amenities are very thoughtful. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. It's suitable for both short trips and business travel – comfortable environment, complete and functional facilities. Highly recommended!

The environment of the Liyuan Hotel is very quiet and beautiful, with lush vegetation and greenery. Chairman Mao and his elders have stayed here many times. The hotel has convenient transportation, not far from the subway station, and the service is thoughtful. When we arrived at the store, we upgraded to three sets for free and gave us breakfast, especially Pan Xu, Jin Zhujiaqi, Dai Siqi, very warm and thoughtful. I will stay here next time I come to Changsha.
