FfrimomoI came to Changsha for a stand-up comedy show, but unexpectedly had a much better-than-expected stay, which definitely deserves a thorough positive review.
The hotel is located in the heart of Meixi Lake, making it incredibly convenient to hail a taxi, find food, or go shopping right outside. Getting to various places was quick and hassle-free.
Upon entering, I was immediately struck by how clean and bright everything was – the floors gleamed, the bathroom fixtures sparkled, and there wasn't a hint of dampness or smoke in the air. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm; I sank into a comfortable sleep as soon as I lay down. The soundproofing was also excellent; footsteps from the hallway were almost completely filtered out, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed night's rest.
The front desk staff were warm and helpful without being intrusive. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and any requests I had during my stay were responded to promptly. These small touches created a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. The toiletries were of good quality, the hot water was abundant and stable, and the Wi-Fi was fast and seamless, with no lag whether I was working or relaxing.
Overall, the value for money is outstanding. Whether for a short stay or a quick stopover, it's incredibly satisfying. The next time I visit Changsha, this will definitely be my top choice for a return visit.

The owner was also very enthusiastic and the service was excellent. If any friends come to Changsha's Orange Isle, I'll definitely recommend this place.

CChunlingThis homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

The room was comfortable, and the housekeeping aunties were diligent and responsible, delivering items very quickly. We could park our car for seven days, and there's an airport shuttle service. The service attitude was super good!

GGuest UserGetting to Orange Isle is super convenient; you can either walk across Xiangjiang Bridge or take the subway just one stop. It's also only about 3 stops to downtown areas like Wuyi Square.
Environment: The surrounding area is a bit so-so, with a few construction sites, but it's very quiet.
Service and hygiene were both excellent, making me feel right at home.

GGuest UserThe room was excellent and the service was superb, especially the hotel butler who ensured our family had a very quick check-in to a room that was pre-arranged and perfectly suited our preferences. The breakfast was also very much to our taste. The travel photography session included in the package was truly fantastic. This hotel is simply the best in Changsha! From the hotel lobby on the 39th floor of the Skyview Heights Hotel, you can see our great leader's statue and the flowing river, making for a beautiful view. The hotel was also very clean, with complete facilities, and the environment and service were all excellent.

CChanchanshuoOverall, the experience was pretty good! The hotel is easily accessible by car if you navigate directly to it. The entire Dawangshan resort area, including attractions like the Snow and Ice World, Circus, and Ocean Kingdom, are all quite close to the hotel, within a 3-5 minute walk, which is very convenient.
The hygiene and service were standard. We were pleasantly surprised with a welcome snack from Cha Yan and an additional room upgrade!
The only minor drawback was the hotel breakfast. The 3rd-floor all-day dining restaurant clearly felt a bit undersized. If the dining area could be further subdivided, with more four-person tables replacing the six-person ones, it might reduce the need for shared tables and improve the overall dining experience.
We paid extra for the hotel's dinner buffet, and the salmon was truly unlimited, which was very generous. The complimentary foie gras and abalone were also quite good. I'd recommend trying it!

RRika37chanThis might just be the hotel with the best night views of the Xiang River in Changsha. My stay was during the plum rain season, so the weather was poor and misty. However, on the first night, I could still see Orange Isle and the Xiang River. Later, as night fell and the lights came on, the light show along both banks of the Xiang River was spectacular. Perhaps the Xiang River night view is the best way to experience Changsha. The next day, the weather cleared up, visibility improved, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Yuelu Mountain in the distance.
The room decor felt a bit old-fashioned and traditional, but the light color palette was very comfortable. The breakfast restaurant offered a wide variety, including freshly baked waffles and made-to-order eggs Benedict. The freshly squeezed juice was very fresh and delicious.
What impressed me most about the hotel was the service at the Grand Club. The front desk staff at the Executive Lounge frequently engaged me in conversation during my stay. They never neglected me, even when busy with work, always attentively answering my questions and comforting me when my flight was delayed due to a schedule change. This trip was for my graduation, and after explaining this to the lounge staff, they happily prepared a small cake to commemorate the end of my student days. I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Manager Yan and all the staff at the Grand Club Executive Lounge, and wish them all the best in their careers.
It's also worth mentioning that the Grand Club offers the best spot to capture photos of Du Fu's Pavilion at night, perfect for stunning shots.
Despite being an older hotel, having been open for nearly 10 years, the Grand Hyatt Changsha is impeccably maintained, both in the rooms and public areas. If I were to recommend a place, the Grand Hyatt would always be the best choice when visiting Changsha.

AAnonymous UserThe environment of the Liyuan Hotel is very quiet and beautiful, with lush vegetation and greenery. Chairman Mao and his elders have stayed here many times. The hotel has convenient transportation, not far from the subway station, and the service is thoughtful. When we arrived at the store, we upgraded to three sets for free and gave us breakfast, especially Pan Xu, Jin Zhujiaqi, Dai Siqi, very warm and thoughtful. I will stay here next time I come to Changsha.
