Chengde Shuangqiao District Hotels

Affordable and value for money stay in the heart of Cheng De city. The check in process was very quick even for me who is a non-PRC citizen. The room was very clean and tidy but the bed could be more comfortable. All amenities such as a toothbrush, towel, shower cap and soap provided. The toilet is spacious and comes with a strong lamp heater. However the toilet might be a bit old. The staff is friendly and even gave me a free upgrade to a window room. They greeted me when I went out of the hotel and when I went back.

We were warmly welcomed on checking in, and were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary upgrade, followed by a room with a waterfront view. The travel desk offered private English-speaking tours to various locations; we took the tour to the famed Mountain Resort 避暑山庄. Hospitality provided by the reception desk was graciously warm. All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying over, even if it were just for 1 night.

Highly recommend. We live in China and have stayed in a few different cities/hotels now and this was by far the best. The building is historic and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms feel brand new and are very thoughtfully laid out. The room comes with all kinds of small conveniences in case you forgot something or need something. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming, from the front office staff to the housekeeping to the repair men. We arrived late on a stormy night and they went out of their way to help us figure out dinner. When the weather got worse and spoiled our plans, the staff did everything they could to rescue the weekend, even at the hotels expense. We plan to come back again when the weather is nicer and will 100% stay here. I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else, especially if you're there to sightsee. The hotel opens directly into the park, it's wonderful.

It was a very pleasant experience in this hotel. Then service was really great, Xiao Wang and Xiao Fan did a really great job and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was also really good with western and Chinese choices. The cook was such a lovely and friendly guy. The room was perfect and we could see the while mountain resort and hammer rock in the distance. We would definitely stay again here.

Nice stay for 1 night in Chengde. Great service, free parking lots, friendly and helpful staff. Room, very clean, bright with a grand view to the river. Bathroom divided in tube/shower, toilet room and make-up space. Breakfast with a great choice of Chinese food. Just a few things related with international breakfast. The hotel is located not directly to many shops and restaurants. We took a taxi to the recommended restaurants and scenic places.

Good location, clean hotel, nice breakfast. The hotel even deliver dessert to the room after dinner time. I have parcel not able to reach the hotel and the receptionist, 赵丽伟and her colleagues were helping me to contact the delivery man to make sure my parcel can arrive hotel on time. Really appreciate their help on this matter. Overall, it is recommended to stay in this hotel in Chengde.

Xiao Yang from the reservation department offered praise, called many times to confirm the needs, and tried his best to meet the requirements. The children liked it very much. Hotel location: More than ten minutes' drive from Chengde South Station, ten minutes' walk from Wanda, and across the courtyard is Rehe Spa The facilities are very new and look like a high-end hotel. The hotel beds are on the hard side, the pillows and quilts are good, and the hygiene is good. Swimming pool: The swimming pool facilities on the 22nd floor are good. The water has no smell, but it is not particularly clean. The water temperature is low and the depth is 1.2-1.5. Bring your own swimming ring or buy one. The children have a great time. Breakfast: It's pretty average. It's not as good as the reviews, but it's not too bad either. If you don't have high hopes, you won't be disappointed. It is recommended to add local specialties. Environment: Children can feed the fish in the Chinese-style courtyard over there, and the colorful lights at the door are nice. Spa: The hotel provides spa tickets, and everything there is free of charge. The price of drinks is good, less than 8 yuan, and the price of meals is okay, but a bit salty. The service is good and enthusiastic, and the equipment is new and clean. The children had a lot of fun soaking in the pool. There is a naughty castle and a sand pool for children, and they need to buy socks. The waiter will help look after the children. Disadvantages: The elevator door does not sense and may be pinched. There is no need to give a bottle of water as a souvenir. Will recommend to friends, worth coming again.

The room is clean and bright, with a good view. It is in a residential area, not facing the street, and very quiet. There are tents, dolls, building blocks, and picture books in the room, so children can play by themselves for a long time. The service was very good and attentive. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is cost-effective and tastes good.

I stayed for a day when I passed by Chengde. It was good. The service was very enthusiastic. The self-service machine checked in faster than the manual one. The room was very clean. It was Xiaodu smart. The disposable items in the disinfection cabinet were worth mentioning. They dispelled many customers' doubts. The hotel's breakfast was very rich and there were many dishes. I took a few photos of my favorites to share with you. They were mainly handmade and safe to eat.

I don't want to tell you how good this B&B is, otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to book it next time. There is no way to hide it anymore. This is the best place to escape from the crowds and relax. The owner and the boy are very considerate and personally teach you how to grill skewers, which is a plus.
