The Queen at Chester Hotel, BW Premier Collection ★★★★
"The staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. The room was tidy and comfortable. I was impressed by the hotel's interior. The location is great, next door to the train station and not far from the town centre."
Holiday Inn CHESTER - SOUTH by IHG ★★★★
"Requested for a baby cot didn’t get one, Requested for a duvet got a mattress cover instead other than that everything was good"
Mill Hotel & Spa ★★★
"I was in Chester for a business trip. The Mill was the perfect spot for a one-night stay, centrally located and close to the station. The breakfast was lovely with views of the canal."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Chester ★★★★
"Anniversary away break. Location on edge of Chester close to motorway. Nice grounds, busy carpark and popular venue for parties and business guests. Carpet on second floor dirty and smells. Sink kept blocking because plug holes full of scum. Toilet seat incorrect size and not secured properly. Bed comfortable, nice towels tea and instant coffee and bottles of water in room. Breakfast nice selection BUT no fresh decaffeinated coffee only instant granules yuk!!! Nothing worse than awful coffee!!! With so many decent decaffeinated options available and customers not drinking caffeine this is totally unacceptable."
Cbh Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"Lovely stay at Rowton Hall. Excellent location to Chester. Great hotel, really clean and fab amenities. Would definitely recommend."
Moxy Chester ★★★★
"Thought this hotel was quite good for the price. Its a little walk into town but nice along the canal. Soundproofing seemed quite goo"
The Chester Grosvenor ★★★★★
"It is really a very old-school hotel with good public areas, exquisite doors, and nice doormen and front desk. It is said that the occupancy rate was very high in those days, and there was not much room to choose from. It was the outermost room on the second floor. It's still spacious, but the door is severely deformed and requires a lot of force to open and close. The mattress is on the soft side, but still OK. The biggest drawback is the bathroom. There are two separate hot and cold faucets in the washbasin, which is very inconvenient. The shower is in the bathtub, with only half of the partition. Water will splash everywhere when taking a shower. The towels are a bit old, thin and hard. The restaurant is also very popular. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Continental breakfast is included. If you want to upgrade to a freshly cooked British hot meal, you have to pay for it, which is more than 12 pounds. I made an appointment for a dinner. It weighed 127 pounds for two people. It was not very delicious. The medium steak was super tough. I suspected that I ordered the wrong one. If I encounter such a situation again in the future, I will have to argue. I will bear with it this time... The hotel is in a very good location, convenient to everywhere."
Crowne Plaza CHESTER by IHG ★★★★
"Great stay "
Roomzzz Chester City ★★★★
"Used to stay overnight for half marathon following morning. All very clean and room made up to high standard, apart from bathroom door which did looke tricky to maintain. Staff very friendly and promptly arranged our late check out and extended carparking."

Manor Wood
"Nice 2 night stay .. only 45 mins drive from home ! Fab open air, albeit small , swimming pool , ideal for kids and this current weather . Lovely staff on site . Fabulous food , breakfast, served at the onside cafe . Will definitely be returning.."
Brook Mollington Banastre Hotel & Spa
"Nice staff. But the hotel is very old. Swimming pool look ok."
Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel
"Great location, lovely hotel but the room was small."
Chester Apartments
"Absolutely fabulous stay from booking to departure after being let down by a previous booking. Apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay with just a short walk into Chester. Hosts went above and beyond even leaving me a bottle of prosecco for my birthday. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Chester Tips Apartment is over 3 floors so may not be great for anyone with mobility issues and similarly parking is around a 10 minute walk away"
Travelodge Chester Central Bridge Street
"Excellent. Hotel was very central. Clean and comfortable. There was a bar if needed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely book again. "
Rowton Poplars Hotel
"The room was very clean and comfortable bed.. i will visit again"
ABode Chester
"Our stay was a little underwhelming overall. The location is excellent, but the facilities left something to be desired, especially considering there are more affordable hotels in Chester that offer more. On arrival, there was only one set of towels in the room, though reception quickly resolved this and the service we received throughout was faultless. The dressing table light wasn’t working, and we were also given conflicting information regarding late checkout, night reception advised it was free until midday, but when I called in the morning, I was told there would be a charge. While the room itself was very basic, it was clean, which we appreciated. That said, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again."
Hotel Indigo CHESTER by IHG
"The hotel is in a good location and you can reach nearby attractions on foot. The room is small, and the only window is only about 40cm wide and covered with film, which is a bit depressing. For breakfast, I had to stand in line for more than 20 minutes even though I had reserved a seat the day before, which was very annoying, probably because it was the weekend. Everything else was satisfactory."
George and Dragon Place
"It was the best place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful"
The Coach House Inn
"Everything went smoothly. Excellent value for money, superb location, Chester is an unforgettable city."
The Hotel Chester
The Townhouse Chester
"I recently booked a stay at this hotel for my mum and auntie, and they had a great experience. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. A special mention goes to Scott on reception, who checked them in. He was particularly kind and attentive, making them feel at ease and ensuring everything went smoothly. They thoroughly enjoyed their time at the hotel and have already said they would happily return in the future. It’s always reassuring to know your family are looked after, this hotel delivered."
