The hostel has such a welcoming vibe and it was so easy to meet people to explore the city with. I enjoyed the privacy of the room and all the facilities were clean. Staff is nice and made some really good recommendations for me in changing Mai which I found very helpful! Highly recommend!

The staff was very welcoming. They helped us with everything we needed. The hostel next door was booked up so we needed a place to stay and they allowed us to book for a cheaper deposit then normal because they were flexible. This really made us appreciate the hospitality of the staff.

Great hostel just outside the main city wall which is a good location to get everywhere. Comfy bed in spacious rooms, good facilities which are kept clean, good social vibes. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend for your stay in Chiang Mai!

wow, this hostle is amazing! I 100% recommanded. Everything was perfect, staff is so chill, food is good and the room was really clean. If you want a good vibe hostel for chill travellers this is the place you need. Was supposed to stay only one night and decided do stay for two, cuz it was so fun!

Ever heard the saying 'the people make the place?' well this is certainly true for this hostel. The staff are the best I've met! They go beyond what's expected from them. I was lucky enough to stay here for a long time, During that time I never ran out of things to do (thanks to the great tour desk and suggestions). Thanks again Nae and Cookie , I'll be back again soon!

Great experience at Cabin Backpackers! Comfy beds each with their own little room, great a/c, chill vibes, good food. Cookie was so sweet and helpful! She made great recommendations around Chiang Mai. She also helped me so much figuring out my trip to Chiang Dao (motorbike transportation, luggage storage etc) and really went out of her way to help me have a great trip! Thank you so much Cookie!

I didn’t even stay at this hostel. But I wish I did and I can’t wait to come back! Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, my friend decided to stay at the Cabin and with no plan, the crew at Cabin helped us plan a bunch of our trip. Cake and Nay specifically made us feel very at home, hanging out on the patio and playing chess with us. They helped us organize our day trips out of Chiang Mai and gave super useful information about Chiang Mai. A huge part of a good hostel is the community and the aura. Cabin has both of those things. Even though I didn’t stay here, I stopped by at least once a day. If your looking for a laid back but social hostel, choose this one
