very affordable hotel in Chiang Mai and just a walk from Chiang Mai Gate Market…highly recommended…the room is also wide and cleaned daily…plus they dont require a deposit…there are nearby convenience stores, hospital, massage, 24 hr laundry shop…best to book during weekends as it is near Wua Lai Walking Street which opens on Saturdays and there are more Street Food Vendors in front of the Gate Market at night…since its near the gate of the old city, Wat Jetlin and Watchediluang are just a walk away

Romena Hotel - is one of the best values in Chiang Mai - it's at the edge of the old city - very clean and a great staff ** there is also a fully equiped professional gym accross the street you can get a day pass for 120 Baht

The Absabloodylutey best soft comfortable beds in Chiang Mai. Good value for money,handy to restaurants,night food markets and 7 /11. Aircon good shower a bit dodgy but fine.

Pros: - The room is clean and spacious enough for comfort. - Staff are friendly and welcoming. - Location is great. - wi-fi connection speed is good and stable. - water pressure is good Cons: - The room is quiet but noisy in mornings.

Chose this place because it had a desk and I had to work for 8 hours per day. I did not realise that the desk is too high and ended up working on my bed. Putting that aside, the location was great - near the market and cafés, not far from the airport.

Very best place, Near Wua Lai Steet Night Market. The staff is so nice. Breakfast is limited in quantity; if you arrive late, there will be hardly anything left to eat.

An excellent building with lots of potential but it's been let go. Not good maintenance. Doesn't look like much interest from the owners. The wallpapers coming off the wall, no soap in the Standalone sink, only two large towels no face towels, the air conditioner is noisy, only one key to the room, it's a manual key and the door doesn't lock automatically you have to push the button. I never could figure out what the red arrow on the ceiling was the pointed to the corner of the room. I don't blame the staff, it looks like they're highly overworked. We left our room from 8:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon and we came back to a dirty room. We saw the staff cleaning across the way and ask them and they said there was so many people checking out and checking in they had no time they were still cleaning the other room.
