Close to most of the tourist attractions. Room was spacious and clean. No food or beverages but they do provide bottle water and instant coffee and tea with kettle in the room. Also, cafes and restaurants just two minutes walk. Highly recommend.

The room decor felt a bit dated, with an old-school business feel. The AC was a bit loud and had a minor leak, and the wallpaper was a bit moldy in places, but thankfully, the room itself didn't smell musty. The service was excellent; the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always responsive to our needs, and Chinese-speaking staff were also available. Its location right next to the old town, with morning and night markets right on its doorstep, was super convenient.

very affordable hotel in Chiang Mai and just a walk from Chiang Mai Gate Market…highly recommended…the room is also wide and cleaned daily…plus they dont require a deposit…there are nearby convenience stores, hospital, massage, 24 hr laundry shop…best to book during weekends as it is near Wua Lai Walking Street which opens on Saturdays and there are more Street Food Vendors in front of the Gate Market at night…since its near the gate of the old city, Wat Jetlin and Watchediluang are just a walk away

The receptionist at night time was extremely rude. He took so long to find a booking details and just throwed the key card at the table without explaining any check in or check out procedure. Unbelievable attitude for the price I paid for.

Location is very good and convenient to buy food easily, if you do not have car or motorbike this is the best choice for you.

Clearly a refurbished hotel and excellent value for money too. Location is good just outside the southern entrance to the moated city, lots of local bars and food stalls, maid service daily and decent showering facilities, coffee and water supplied in the room each day.

The room was spacious and lovely, but there wasn't much hot water for the shower.

The room I got was not the room I booked. The photos online showed a much nicer and very different room, which is why I chose this hotel. But when I checked in, I was given something completely different. It was really disappointing and felt misleading.

Very nice hotel, great location on the south side of the old city. I would recommend.

Romena Hotel - is one of the best values in Chiang Mai - it's at the edge of the old city - very clean and a great staff ** there is also a fully equiped professional gym accross the street you can get a day pass for 120 Baht

The Absabloodylutey best soft comfortable beds in Chiang Mai. Good value for money,handy to restaurants,night food markets and 7 /11. Aircon good shower a bit dodgy but fine.

Spacious clean rooms in a central location, right by the street with Saturday night market

Great location, really close to Chiang Mai Gate, so both morning and night markets are easily accessible for food. It's also very near the Old City. The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low. Service was good, and the staff spoke English. Thumbs up!
