Chiang Mai Suthep Hotels

The hotel is quite old but is being renovated regularly. The atmosphere around the accommodation is quiet. The air conditioning is cool. The electricity and water in the room are considered good. The staff provides good service. There is enough parking space. It may be a little far from convenience stores.

Elevator is not available for rooms in the lower block of this old hotel. Breakfast is ordinary. Reception counter is very friendly and helpful. A good Thai massage parlor, 7-Eleven, large night market and Maya shopping mall are in the vicinity. It takes only 15 minutes from airport by taxi.

The staff was very friendly, but the whole hotel has an odd smell, like just finished refurbishment, and the shower doesn't have compartment. A bit far from the busy area.

I had a wonderful experience with Stay with Nimman in Chiang Mai. A very peaceful stay. Very clean room, plenty of amenities and a very nice place to stay over all. I had great food as well. I loved their spa and the massages I had were wonderful. The view from the roof was super cool, and the pool was nice. All hotel staff were kind and went out of their way to help me. Thank you for making me feel welcome and comfortable, Stay with Nimman!

I had a very bad experience during check-in. The self check-in process didn’t work, and I tried to contact the property through Line and phone, but no one replied. I arrived at around 6 PM and waited almost an hour before someone finally responded. During that time, Trip.com staff were very helpful and tried to contact the hotel, but they couldn’t reach them either. When I finally got the room code, the room I received was not what I booked. It had no window and used a shared bathroom. I felt very unsafe, stressed, and disappointed. The hotel told me they would move me to a larger, special room the next day. However, on the next day around noon, the staff messaged me and told me to move immediately. I was in Mae Rim for a business meeting and had to drive back to change rooms. But the new room was not bigger — it was the same room type I originally booked. I felt very disappointed and treated unfairly. I paid for something I didn’t receive. This is the most upsetting experience I’ve ever had with any accommodation. I didn’t feel safe and will never stay here again. The only good points were that the place was clean, the cleaning staff were friendly, and the shared bathroom was also clean. The original room I booked was nice — if only I had received it from the start.

Very affordable price, the surrounding looks very tranquil and pretty. Swimming pool is big enough. Walking distance to Chiang Mai university and the night market behind the university. But unfortunately so far these are all advantages. The cleanliness of the room was really below the standard, we found plenty of cocoons on the wall and some dead bugs? ( very unpleasant). There was only one trash can for the whole room, so we need to go all the way to the toilet to throw away the trash. Reception staff looks like they don’t want to be at work at all.

Very nice clean and new hotel. Not a bad location there are restaurants and bars close by but a little expensive. Found that next door had a great restaurant and cheap drinks and ate there 3 times , good service and good food [ pic provide of premises] . Hotel roof bar and pool was good but the host was not very welcoming, and it was expensive to drink . As in other reviews the bath tube shower experience is deadly

Forget the name Travel Lodge this felt well-polished. With ascetic of an art gallery. Didnt include breakfast in my booking but went (paid extra on arrival 250thai baht). Looked specifically for a gym when booking and had one, not the best (1 resistance machine, lat pull down, free weight and cardio machines) gym opened from 06:00-22:00. The Pool looked nice but I didn't get in. It and the gym are situated on the top of the building which makes for a great view. Would stay again.

For some reason the day I booked this place just showed this place and L nimman , that’s why I chose vulcano. I wasn’t expecting much just a clean room with amenities. The room is super dusty. I found someone pants in the bathroom drawer ( they’re dirty). The glass sealing glue coming out from the edge of the shower glass and that is the sign of bad maintenance and recklessness. There were only towel and no head towel or bathrobe at all( ask the maid, she said no) the entire room only has one tissue paper in the toilet seat, no any spare in the room at all. The pillow is very loose and flat. Only one pillow per bed ( they have 2 small toss pillows) the good thing about this place is location, it’s next to ThongSmith noodles right in Nimman area. They have great balcony tho. The staff were nice, they are quite (what do you do) ( we chose two single beds)

The hotel is very nice. They have welcome drink and snack at the entrance gate. The bathroom has separate zone. Amenities has earplugs that I can't find in other place, so I'm surprised. A lot of parking. There is near 86 ramen that is very delicious.
