The hotel is really great - very nice grounds with a pool, cafe and a small animal farm. Everything looks very nice, like I was living in a dollhouse 🥰 The rooms are simple and comfortable, I was very comfortable. The owner and hotel staff are very friendly: when I arrived late, they took me to a nearby cafe and then came back for me. Breakfast was included in the price; I chose the English breakfast - it was quite good. There is a beautiful park nearby, lots of coffee shops and restaurants. My only regret is that I didn't spend much time there. Thank you for your hospitality, will definitely come back again 🫶🏻

The Wi-Fi exploded well and the water pressure and the water in the shower came out enough, so I felt good when I took a shower. However, it's frustrating because the room is small.
I want to support the staff in the picture because he speak English well and work hard. His face is covered, but you'll recognize him right away when you go to the hotel. When he checks in, he does his job at a restaurant, anywhere with a smiling face. I support the future of the young man.

Really like this hotel
1: The environment is very good and the traffic is very convenient. It is a long walk from Tha Pae Gate.
2: The room is large and the decoration style is also my favorite simple style. There is a big bathtub, but unfortunately I don't have the habit of taking a bath.
3: The boss is very nice. We went to Chiang Mai for the first time. We were not familiar with the surrounding area. The boss was very enthusiastic to help us recommend where to eat deliciously. Every time we recommended it, it was very appetizing to our appetite.
4: Don't worry about communication problems, because the boss is our communication problem in China
5: Because it was during the epidemic, domestic masks were not easy to buy, so I asked the boss to buy us a little mask, the price is very reasonable,
6: Say so much good, also say bad, the only thing is that the hotel may be a bit noisy in Malay, but you don't worry, the boss is equipped with earplugs, shut the glass before bed, it is no problem, the glass has sound insulation effect, so don't worry
Forgot to take a photo of the room.

A very safe, new, clean and minimalist type of hotel which I love. As a solo traveller, this place makes it accessible to all places I wanted to visit in the old city. A lot of nearby cafes and massage places as well. Service from the staff was also good and if I’ll be in Chiang Mai again, I will definitely stay with them again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is just ok. It’s cheap so you probably get what you pay for. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is good and quiet. They clean the room every day but some parts they don’t. For example the toilet door. The dirt has been there for ages most probably. Also the fire alarm was covered with plastic. And it was off. Now I understand why some hotels burn down in Thailand. This is the worst part of my stay there.

Personally I love the bathroom interior (floor and wall) the strong pressure of water just so nice. The bed are medium soft. The wall are quite thin. I can hear people around. Small swimming pool but reasonable with the price and the area. No car park but can park some bikes in front. Staff are friendly and supportive. They have small balcony to smoke or sit and chill. Location is good Overall is good i would come back again with friends or families

It's worth the price with the environment and decoration for what I am paying due to advance booking without cancellation.
Pros:
1. Nice ancient decoration
2. Water temperature is hot enough for the shower tank
3. Spacious and acceptable cleanliness
4. Strategic location (within walking distance to most of the temples and have 7eleven nearby)
Cons:
1. Doesn't equipped with small fridge (you can not keep your drinks chill if you plan to enjoy any drinks in the room, unless you buy some ice cubes)
2. The pillow is too soft which I personally prefer harder pillow.
3. The pressure of the shower head would be better if it can be stronger (P.S. I am staying at room located at ground floor).
The breakfast variety is not alot but is enough for breakfast, which basically covering 2 main dish, 1 clear soup, yogurt, fruits and salad, cereals, fruit juice, coffee and tea, bread and pastry.

The hotel is located in the northwest corner of Chiang Mai Old Town, within walking distance of 7-11, KFC, Pizzahut, North Gate Night Market, Chiang Mai Women's Prison Massage Shop, Dragon show, which is quite convenient. It looks like a family-style hotel. The owner has three cats (very cute, you can pet them as much as you want) and a dog (a little irritable, suddenly barking loudly when he sees us). It was the rainy season (2024 Jun) when we stayed there, and there were not many guests. The waiter was very friendly and responded actively when needed. I saw other guests' feedback on the online comments before. The problem of loud motorcycle noise at night does exist, but this is not entirely the hotel's problem. The more important thing is the street conditions (convenient traffic, so riders will choose to pass here) and motorcycle riders (he could have chosen to pass slowly and quietly, but he chose to speed up the motor and pass loudly), so there is no way, and the owner feels helpless. It may also be because of the off-season, so there are not many motorcycle riders, and the occasional noise does not affect sleep. Overall, very satisfied. If a friend comes, I will recommend this hotel to him.

SSarah LouiseWe loved the Charcoa hotel. It looks exactly like the pictures, a very charming beamed building in the heart of the Old Town. It’s a 2 minute walk from some really cool cafes and bars and has a convenient little shop just across the road. The pool area is fantastic and the staff were very attentive. We enjoyed poolside drinks at sunset and were impressed when the staff came and brought us mosquito spray as it started getting dark.
The room we stayed in was on the smaller side but certainly enough room for two people and the hotel surprised us with rose petals on the bed and a card to celebrate our anniversary which made it very special.
Reviews are correct in saying the shower pressure isn’t great and it does take a while to get warm, but we managed just fine. The mattress was incredibly firm and the bed frame sounded like it could collapse at any moment - but it didn’t! There are also posters of characters from the movie The Hobbit in the room which was a little strange; and signs warning about fines which detract from the architectural beauty of the building. When you enter the room, there is a big list of fines you could receive for damaging property and warnings about everything from eating durian to flushing sanitary products, but I suppose it is a beautiful building they want to protect. Despite this, it’s a beautiful place and a really enjoyable stay.
All in all, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

TTiger911The hotel is located next to the South Gate, let's call it the South Gate. Across the road is the ancient city wall and moat, which is convenient for travel. The room facilities are good, larger than the previous one, and it is not bad to live in. As for mosquitoes and small insects, I haven't noticed them yet. Maybe they also start hibernating in December? There are small ants, but they can be ignored.
The front desk staff are very enthusiastic. There is an elevator up and down. Compared with hotels of the size of a homestay, the elevator is very friendly to large boxes😃
There is a restaurant or a cafe next to the hotel lobby. The breakfast is Westernized but delicious. I forgot to take pictures of the dishes, haha! Although it is a little more expensive than eating out, it is worth it.
The room facing the street where we stayed was basically not noisy with the windows closed, and there were fewer passing vehicles after 10:30 pm.
As for what is Lanna style, I need to slowly check it out in the future.

MMENGPart of the breakfast is buffet, part of the order is very rich, the bed is big, the view is good, the hotel is in a small alley but it is also convenient, but the soundproofing is not very good, the sound of the next door is very clear. I was disturbed for two nights.

二二连道光The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is convenient to go out to sea ~ and it is convenient to eat. Not far from the big shopping mall in Pattaya. The hotel breakfast is very good ~ There are not many guests, foreigners are mainly, clean! The room is old. There is a door that can go directly to the next room. The sound insulation is very poor. I live next to the Thai. I will play music at five o'clock in the morning and speak. I always feel that the door is ringing in the middle of the night. I really dare not sleep.

GGuest UserHygiene: Very clean. The yard and rooms are very clean and well maintained.
Environment: It's unique and stylish, with a small yard. I like to sit in the yard and read a book. When I get up early, there are birds chirping.
Service: Staff service attitude is very good
The only major drawback is that the breakfast is really not delicious and not suitable for my Chinese stomach. The sound insulation effect is also average. You can hear the coughing and walking sounds upstairs. However, because it is relatively quiet in the alley, we The price I set was 900 per night for two people in a triple room. Because there were no rooms available when I made the reservation, it felt much more expensive than usual.

GGuest UserIt is in the old city, less than 300 meters away from Chiang Mai Gate and more than 800 meters away from Tha Pae Gate. There are several temples around it, and the Saturday and Sunday night market is just a stone's throw away. The boss is very nice, and coffee and tea are very convenient. The price is very affordable. It is worth recommending.

ZZoe1018Good location: within 5 minutes’ walk of Peta Gate in the ancient city
Cleanliness is average: daily cleaning, but there are no slippers in the room. Those who are used to it are recommended to bring their own
General service: Reception staff are average
Facilities: There is no elevator, so you need to be careful when carrying suitcases. The stairs leading to the room are outdoor iron ladders, which may be slightly slippery if it rains.
The overall building is of high quality and the rooms are well soundproofed. Although the location is great, it is very quiet because it is in a small alley.
It would be even better if there is a dehumidifier in the room.
The booked room type is suitable for one person, but it will be too crowded for two people (the room can only accommodate a 26-inch suitcase). There are no other small chairs and stools except the dressing table and chairs. It is not suitable to buy something and go back to the room to eat.

XXujiaI am very satisfied with the service of this hotel. There is a Chinese-speaking guy at the front desk who helped me solve a lot of problems. I must give him a thumbs up. I originally read the previous reviews because I was worried about dogs barking. After I went there, I found that the guest rooms had Chinese signs. If they heard a dog barking, the staff would go to the neighbor's house to negotiate. In fact, I didn't hear a dog barking during my 4-day stay. I also like their breakfast, which has an a la carte menu and a small buffet. The decoration of the hotel is also very good. It is indeed a small boutique hotel. Thank you very much for the hotel's service.

BBIYII'm going to blow up this hostel. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The landlord is actively pursuing hygiene every day. Every day I heard that he played jazz music for hygiene, and there were flowers. I had only lived for 5 days, and my friends and I stayed for another 4 days. Will stay here again in the future. Even more comfortable than some hotels.
