Qianhe Zhixuan High-View Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong)

This is my first time traveling to China and it is the best hotel. It is located in the center of the city within walking distance of Hongya-dong and Raffel City, the facilities are clean, and the service of the staff is friendly. There are 3 elevators, so you don't have to wait long.

Easy access to the metro, less than 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of places to eat and shop. The hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was helpful if you needed anything. Housekeeping was very polite and refilled the bottled water daily. The view of the river was an added incentive!

Reception at floor 21, the upgraded our room for a bigger one. Lift can be busy but there are 3 so it’s not too much to wait. Near Jiefangbei and the river to enjoy the beautiful night lights and views, also near Hongyadong cave and Arhat temple is just downstairs from the hotel. Honestly location is 10 out of 10. The room is clean and nice, the service is great and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. We would come back here for sure and recommend to any visitor the place, also great views of the city because you stay very high.

Great experience. Location is central, next to a metro station. Everything is easy to reach. The room was big and had a nice style to it. The bed was comfy. All in all well worth the price.

This hotel was easy to find, I was afraid of not being able to find it due to reading so many other reviews about other hotels being difficult to spot. However, I had no issue. It’s located at the 21st floor of a building with offices and other hotels. That being said, sometimes there is a bit of a wait for the elevator (I think there were 3 or 4) but it’s not terrible. Around 5-10min wait. There are also restaurants and convenience stores right in front of the hotel that close very late (maybe past midnight). It’s very close to the metro station (1-2min walk) and at the heart of many attractions. I mainly chose this hotel due to its convenient location to all of the main attractions in Chongqing without being too crowded and at a good price point with city view. I even got an upgrade to my room which was a bonus. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. I had no issue at all and they were always open and willing to help. I like how welcomed I felt. The room was quite big and clean with a smart bidet toilet (rare gem). Overall, I highly recommend! While it is not located near all the crowd and the shops; it’s a nice getaway from all the bustle.

The hotel's main asset is its location, close to Hongya Cave. The room is clean and very comfortable. The reception staff speaks good English and can suggest a variety of activities. The only downside would be access to the elevators, which can sometimes be difficult depending on the schedule.
