great location, right in the middle of eighteen stairs - lots of shopping and food options! also walkable to metro and all other attractions within chongqing (~20mins) however, we had a few issues with the card key. not recommended for older folks as you may need to climb few flights of stairs to the room. should wear room slippers too as the floor isnt very clean.

Great place to stay in a central, unique location. The area gets very busy during the day but during the night it’s quiet and there’s no more noise. It can be a bit difficult to find the location when arriving for the first time, it’s better to immediately ask someone for directions. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room is spacious and comfortable.

Shanhai Yuli Homestay is a quaint little guesthouse that is more charming and homely than the usual hotels. 1. Location - at the end of Shibati where the war underground tunnel is and above Shibati Foodcourt and opposite Tim Hortons. 2. Subway - Jiaochangkou Station (Line 1/ 2). Underground exit 11 to Homestay is 2mins walk Airport - via taxi to Shibati about 25mins, alight at the SexyTea kiosk. 3. Supermarket - Jiaochangkou exit 7. 4. Convenience store - halfway down Shibati and across the road from SexyTea kiosk. 5. Food - food of all kinds is everywhere. Room is spacious and the balcony is huge too. Love the bed and projection tv. Water pressure, heater and toilet worked well. In summary, I would highly recommend this Homestay . Tip: when checking in and you're already somewhere near, best to call the Homestay free of charge via Trip.com, so the recep guy can go bring you in. It's a maze out there so don't waste your energy trying to find the entrance.

Shan Hai Yu Li homestay is a great accommodation choice! The location is very good, very convenient, and there is a lot of food, drink, and fun nearby, which is very delicious! The front desk staff's service is also great, very considerate and enthusiastic! Feeling the enthusiasm of Chongqing, I sincerely recommend it! Like 👍

The hotel is strategically located at the heart of the tourist attractions, Shibati. Everything is easily accessible the moment we step out from our room. The front desk girl is very friendly and helpful. They decorated the room with balloons and flowers and the owner of the homestay gifted us a wedding anniversary gift. 🥰 we had a pleasant stay at this homestay. Place is quiet after 10pm so it wouldn’t disturb our sleep.

Room I stayed in was clean and has the necessary amenities. We love the location being in a scenic spot and the metro line 1 and line 2 within walking distance. There are many food outlets in this area. The reception staff were helpful and help us to settle an issue we had with a day trip agent. Also, wrote out for us on how to get to different attractions. Highly recommend Shanhai Yuli Homestay.

Room have a few insect(centipede,spider & mosquito) Balcony view is nice but beware of spider web and spider The only good thing is the location, view & the receptionist is helpful.

Location is good, near MRT and bus station. Room is clean. But noise a little bit loud.

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time staying here. Room was spacious and the location was great for sightseeing in the heart of the city. Subway station is just a few steps away and plenty of food and shopping options at Shibati. 10/10 recommend would stay here again!
