"Only stayed one night whilst travelling from Bangkok to Samui. Room was spotless, very welcoming with a comfortable bed and great aircon. The minibar was stocked, and even had cool glasses. The bathroom was spacious and had lovely toiletries. The TV had smart TV which meant lots of English speaking channels. We had dinner in the restaurant which although pricey was some of the best Thai fresh seafood we've had recently. There was a really nice outside seating area as well as an air-conditioned room to dine in. Some unique and homemade options as well as photos and weights shown of the catch of the day. We booked breakfast but didn't get up early enough to try it. Carparking was ample and conveniently located near the front desk, but it wasn't covered which meant the car was boiling wventhough we left around 9am. The area is beautiful and warranted a longer stay, we will revisit when we are next travelling Thailand. Our only improvements would be blackout curtains, and the option of a firmer pillow."

It was okay for a night's stay before a trip, but if you're staying longer, it might be a bit uncomfortable because the room is small and stuffy. There's not much space to open your suitcase. At night, the dogs in the alley are noisy and they bite each other loudly. Every time I come, they always bite. The location is good, convenient for walking around the night market. There's a 7-Eleven right outside the alley. Parking is available. The staff is excellent."

"Spacious big room with laminated wood floor. The only thing it doesn't have is a safety box. There is a electric kettle to boil water. You can even take a bath. Not many hotels in this grade has a bathtub. Room is very big but the 30 inch TV looks tiny sitting in the big room. The breakfast is simple buffet style and is good. There is toast with jam, Instant coffee and tea, Eggs sunny side up and sausages. Salads, Thai food stir fry and steam rice and fruits and croissants. This is a great place for an overnight stay enroute to Bangkok or HatYai. I will come back."

My senses were blown away every time I sat outside on the balcony to listen and watch the jungle around me. I could sit there for hours. Our villa was cleaned every day and coffee (made and produced on the site) was put in our room as well as water, little boxes of cereal and crackers and carton milk. Couldn’t fault it tbh, staff were all nice and very helpful giving me a map of the local area and Restaurants. I would definitely recommend you stay here, you do need transport to explore."

"I'm shocked at how secluded and beautiful this place is. 🥹🥰 There are so many locals around, the most delicious somtam I've ever eaten (and I don't eat somtam), the most tender fish, and a lovely breakfast. At reception, we were told it was until 10:30, and we arrived for breakfast at 10:10, but it turned out it was until 10:00. The girls in the dining room thoughtfully let us eat anyway. Thank you! The beach is shallow and sandy—great for kids. The house itself is spacious, bright, and equipped with everything you need."

"This was a former Novotel, all the logos are masked, but that's it (apparently there was a rebranding or a change of ownership). Overall, the hotel is very good for the price. It's not crowded. We thought it was because of the infrastructure, the lack of a proper beach nearby, the big waves, and the Chumkhon isn't a tourist destination unless you're just stopping for an overnight stay, as we did on our way to Bangkok. The hotel is practically empty. We counted the staff at the hotel, a cook, a manager, a waiter, a butler, and a maid, considering the hotel's large square footage. There's a 7/11 nearby, and you can get there through the hotel's courtyard. It's fine for an overnight stay, but not for a relaxing stay."
