Find the Cheap StraBlach-Dingharting Hotels

Usually I stay wih family when visiting my hometown Munich, but this time I was looking to treat my partner to a special vacation for his birthday. I am so pleased that we chose to stay in the Waldgasthof, as we had such a lovely relaxed time there. Set so closely to beautiful woodlands and the river Isar, but also very near the train to access Munich city it is just perfect for a stay combining city visits with a real Bavarian country feel. The hotel staff was most accommodating in helping me to book online for a discount, and helped in the choice of room - a most cosy and quiet Landhausroom - comfy spacious bed, wooden floor and ceiling, and a modern en suite bathroom. Waking up to spring birdsong, and then getting spoiled in the country style restaurant to a most lavish breakfast. We also appreciated the cleanliness and the special care to up to date hygiene due to COVID-19, which had just started to spread in Germany. We also had dinner with friends there one night, which was enjoyable and of high quality. If you fancy Scottish Malt whisky, even rare ones, you would be in the right place. I have never seen such an extensive choice outside of Scotland. We would love to return at some time during a warmer weather to enjoy sitting outside in the beergarden and to walk more extensively along the Isar. My worries are always that good ratings may reduce my own chances for a return visit, but this hotel, staff and owners simply deserve nothing less than an eccellent review.

I have been 2 times in the new host and was again satisfied. The rooms are clean and properly furnished. The bathroom is very clean and there was nothing missing. I had always friendly staff and could get back 2 days this time. The beer gate invites to a good half Tegeraee beer. Gastronomy leaves to wish. Between the times I could not feel an explosion in me when my food was given to me. As it was obtained, the view was also. I was not liked to serve on the table and a little too little to be sad. This time I ordered potatoes instead of potato püree. Not a piece of spice or S*****en. There is no surprise that you don't use the local. Otherwise it has tasted somewhat The breakfast I couldn't judge. Had booked without this. Because it is very cheaply located I'll try to book a room here next time. Sound overnight stay. Room comfortable, warm and quiet enough. Bathroom has shower over bath but is large and warm. All getting a little bit tired if you like your hotel rooms sparkly and new but perfectly serviceable. We stayed twice - once on way to Austria and a week later on the way home. We had supper on the first visit. OK but pretty unexciting and limited in choice. On the second visit we were advised dining room closed and sent next door. A great outcome as we got a much better supper! Breakfast usual mixed Continental range of meat; cheese; fruit; yoghurt; coffees; teas; cooked breakfast; breads - in other words solid and tasty with vast quantity. Would happily stay again.
