The environment is pleasant and very close to the winery. The staff's attitude is also enthusiastic. But the facilities are really poor, the bed creaks when turned over. The toiletries are very dry. The price is indeed on the high side.

I really like this boutique hotel converted from an ancient building. The hotel has everything you need, including a large swimming pool. It is a real treat to sit under the trees and watch the sunset. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the ancient town of Cortona. It is said that the tribe that founded the Roman Empire rose from there. The town is very lively and there are delicious foods everywhere. It is worth a visit.

We had a special place in the region, to which we returned for 15 years because of its unique beauty, charm, and staff. It was not an experience we had had elsewhere and, after it closed and despite looking for several years, seemed one that we would not match. It's been matched, and I would say surpassed. Villa di Piazzano itself is stunning, the location superb, and the people its greatest asset of all. What a treasure. Found our new place.

A beautiful setting amidst peaceful valleys, vineyards and woodlands. Impeccable service and amenities only a few miles from the ancient walled village of Cortona. The staff is courteous and helpful; the cocktails and food sublime. A "must see" destination on your visit to Italy.

The setting is beautiful, the staff are extremely helpful and the room was well designed and very comfortable. There are plenty of garden chairs in which to sit and watch the glorious sunset and the garden and pool area are well serviced with drinks and food available by ordering from the restaurant staff. There is a varied breakfast buffet with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians, as well as on the main menu. We received a beautiful welcome basket with baked items, fresh fruit and wine. The staff were very helpful with advice on activities in the area.
