Quinta da Pousada Casa de Campo

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful quinta located in the beautiful Douro Valley. She was tastefully restored with all necessary amenities and managed to perfectly preserve her Portuguese character. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Carlos was a fantastic host who did the administration, served the food as a waiter, organized an excellent Porto tasting in the quinta, gave tips, made reservations for a boat trip, a visit to the wine cooperative, etc. super. It turned out that Carlos is a very well-trained drummer by the way. Nice swimming pool, great view, tasty (but way too much) food for a reasonable price. Highly recommended for those who want some peace and quiet. A car is a must because it is quite remote.

What a beautiful quinta this is, located in its own vineyards. We stayed in a tasteful and spacious room with a balcony, overlooking the swimming pool with the valley and the villages beyond. The beds were fine, the spacious bathroom was just like you would want it at home with a nice walk-in shower. Everywhere on the site were corners where you could sit or hang out, always with a beautiful view of the surroundings. Breakfast and dinner were served in a room where the history of the quinta and the port came into its own. The barrels of port were still sparkling in the lounge. Carlos was the very attentive host, he makes sure that no one is missing out, knows everything about the wine and port and has nice tips about activities. In short, this hotel is top notch.

Endroit Magnifique ! L'emplacement, l'accueil, l'hébergement et la restauration sont parfaits ! Un petit bémol sur le prix des repas un peu élevé .... 40 euros par personne sans le vin... Si vous souhaitez accompagner votre diner avec du vin, l'addition est un peu salée...

Quinta da Pousada is een mooie gerestaureerde boerderij, die aan de N2 ligt. De kamers zijn ruim en hebben een balkon met uitzicht op de bergen met wijnranken. Het zijn fijne bedden en de badkamer heeft een grote regendouche. Er is een heerlijk zwembad en onder de bomen is een fijne plek met relaxbedden gemaakt. Er is gelegenheid tot dineren, maar er is geen menukaart. Laat je verrassen, voor €40,-- p.p krijg je een 4 gangenmenu aangeboden van alleen maar lokale producten. Overheerlijk! en zeker voldoende, net zoals het ontbijt trouwens. Met een dieet wordt rekening gehouden. Alle medewerkers zijn zeer servicegericht. Andre zocht voor ons allerlei dingen op en wees ons op het mooi gelegen dakterras waar we gebruik van mochten maken. Bedankt Andre voor je goede zorgen.  Ook Antonio was zeer zorgzaam, zeker toen ik kwam vertellen dat ik een avond alleen kwam dineren.  Hij was erg medelevend. Dank je wel Antonio, we voelden dat je echt met ons meeleefde. Ook de kokkin wil ik bedanken voor de roos die als troost op mijn bord was gelegd. Kortom een plek waar je als graag geziene gast wordt behandeld door alle medewerkers. Een aanrader!

Já frequentamos a região do Douro há vários anos, não conhecíamos a quinta da pousada, desta vez optamos por ficar na região de santa Marta de penaguiao e descobrimos esta magnífica quinta que fica na N2. Desde a recepção até ao check out, apresentaram um serviço estupendo. Sentimo-nos em casa, todo o Staff é extremamente simpático, os espaços são muito bonitos e bem cuidados, é petfriendly e tem as melhores vistas da região. As piscinas são de água salgada, cuidadas e com vistas infinitas sobre as vinhas. O local perfeito para uns dias de descanso em contacto com a natureza.

O custo benefício é ruim. Hotel caro para o que oferece. O pequeno almoço tem pouca variedade, uma pessoa que vem te servir e acaba que não há muitas opções para escolher. Para um hotel que custa mais de 150 euros a diária, os quartos são normais em relação a outros hotéis de valor inferior e os serviços também nada demais. Além de tudo, todas as atrações e pontos turísticos ficam há pelo menos 30min - 1 hora de carro. Não achei nada bom este hotel. Muito caro para o que oferece. É caro e ainda cobra taxa dos animais domésticos.
