The path from the cottages to the front desk and restaurant is dirt, so it is difficult to walk. I think they need to improve it a bit.

I made a reservation around Dambulla to rest one more day in Sigiriya, and they let me check in 2 hours early. The staff were really friendly, and the owner of the restaurant next to the pool was really kind. They also provided room service, so I was able to rest well. The hotel was spacious, so it was nice to walk around, but I recommend going to the treetop. It would be really nice to do yoga there. I wanted to go to the pool, but there were too many Westerners, lol. They booked a taxi for me the next morning and packed breakfast for me, so I was grateful. The room was the same as in the picture and was very spacious.

We had a lovely stay, everyone enjoyed and had a great time. Loved the way you'll have kept the natural environment undisturbed, as much as possible. I think it's a perfect balance which created a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The food was very tasty. Staff at the hotel were friendly and provided a great service.

We recently organized a staff outing at Amaara Forest, and it exceeded all our expectations. Malith from the sales team went above and beyond to help us plan the perfect gathering—ensuring we had the ideal setting for both our group meetings and a memorable evening at the beautifully themed Forest Restaurant. At the hotel, Tushitha from reservations, along with the entire team, made sure every detail was taken care of, accommodating all our requests seamlessly. The stay was truly enjoyable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return—this time with friends and family in tow. To top it all off, the hotel's stunning location and serene jungle ambiance made the experience even more special. A perfect blend of comfort, nature, and warm hospitality.

Greate place to experience the authentic Sri Lankan food, hospitality and friendly atmosphere. The crab curry for dinner was out of this world and SriLankan breakfast in the tree top restaurant surrounded by all the greenery was the icing on the cake. Wish we stayed longer ❤️

What an excellent gem of an hotel - remote but not too far from lions rock and the safaris. Rooms really clean and spacious with beautiful furniture, beds so comfy, great air con and showers with good power and hot water facilities. Beautiful pool and so peaceful with the sound of the Forrest all around. Surprisingly not many mosquitoes- I usually get eaten and not one bite!!! Staff make this place too - they can’t do enough for you - shout out to the reception team and particularly Chandima and Thusi in the restaurant who gave the best service. Food was excellent too, the chefs are very good - obviously the Sri Lankan curries were highly rated by my husband but also the carbonara pasta was really surprisingly good. A pool table made the evenings fun, although after touring around all day and eating amazing food not much energy left!!. We loved this place and would highly recommend. Took two teenagers (16 and 17) who loved it too. We went in July - low season for them and the hotel was fairly empty but it meant we had the place almost to ourselves! We don’t write reviews unless it’s worth sharing - this place is a real gem. Highly recommend.
