The sunset by the lake was especially beautiful and made the experience even more memorable. A great place to relax while visiting Dambulla, Sigiriya and the surrounding Cultural Triangle. "The hotel is very beautiful and very integrated with nature. It is very close to Dambulla. The Jetwing Group is all plastic-free and has a strong environmental awareness. I like it very much. The check-in speed was a bit slow, but welcome drinks and snacks were provided during the check-in. The room is very large and an extra bed was given. It was very comfortable to stay with 3 adults and 1 child. The dinner buffet was booked starting at 7 o'clock. There were quite a lot of choices and the price was reasonable. The only thing I was not satisfied with was that we were in rooms 220 and 221, which were right above the restaurant, and right above the scrambled eggs + barbecue. The cooking smell was very strong after the restaurant opened, and the buffet was very noisy at night. The noise was not over until the restaurant was cleaned up in the middle of the night, which was not friendly to young children. Families who sleep light must avoid the rooms above the restaurant when booking, especially 220/221"

"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
