Sigiriya Village ★★★★★
"The pool, nestled amidst nature, is absolutely fantastic. We spotted squirrels, monkeys, and peacocks. All the staff members were incredibly kind and hardworking. Our cottage didn't have a refrigerator, but it wasn't an issue for us."
Amron Resort Sigiriya ★★★
"A month at this hotel was a true fairy tale for us! We felt right at home thanks to the incredibly friendly and kind family who took care of us from the very first moment. They were also ready to help with literally everything! When we mentioned that we wanted to cook for ourselves and were looking for accommodation with a kitchen, they simply... built us a kitchen! It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated to incredibly delicious, generous meals. Breakfasts are a special treat here: always plenty of food, fresh ingredients, and everything is incredibly delicious. You can also rent their bicycles to explore the amazing Sigiriya. It was amazing! Riding along picturesque trails amidst the wild nature was a dream! Even within the hotel grounds, you can feel a connection with nature: colorful birds sing their melodies, squirrels dart through the palm trees, and monitor lizards leisurely wander through the bushes – true harmony with nature. We left with a heavy heart, as this place became our home for a whole month. We recommend it to anyone seeking warm hospitality, comfort, and a connection with nature. Don't hesitate – this hotel is definitely worth your consideration!"
The Paradise Dambulla ★★★★★
"We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff and the hotel management at Paradise Dambulla for making our stay so memorable. Your warm hospitality, kindness, and exceptional service made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience and creating beautiful memories that we will always cherish. We truly appreciate all your hard work and look forward to visiting again."
Hôtel Niyagala Lodge Sigiriya ★★★
"A very special and very comfortable one night stay! ! ! The room was kept spotless and the facilities were placed just right. When he learned that I was going out to find a restaurant for dinner, Isuru was worried about my safety at night and offered to pick me up by car. Half an hour before the meal ended, he was waiting at the restaurant. (The mom’s kitchen he recommended is the best local restaurant I have eaten in during my more than ten days in Lanka!! The price is also very affordable) Isulu is really serious about running this hotel, and there are gentleman guests. Mr. Aland is helping him."
Hotel Sigiriyaaya - Jetwing Select ★★★
"The facilities are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Best of all, without a doubt, is the staff; they are incredibly friendly and polite. We were delighted with our stay at this hotel! Highly recommended."
Dambulla Tourist Resort ★★★
"A very pleasant stay. Excellent value for money. The location is fantastic, very close to the Golden Temple. Everything was very clean. There's a terrace with views of the rock. The staff were very friendly."
Eden Grand ★★★
"Although the check-in time had passed and it was already the middle of the night, I am very grateful that they were willing to let me stay despite our repeated email exchanges. It was a great help today."
Yashi's Place Sigiriya ★★★

Jetwing Vil Uyana, A Luxury Reserve
"We are writing this while sitting at the beautiful breakfast lounge - the breeze, the view and the fantastic service from Ravindra. Sri Lanka never disappoints and Vil Uyana is a new gem we have discovered that we will love coming back to. The idea of having one host taking care of your entire stay is a great idea, and that was Ravindra for us, calm, gentle and ever so helpful. Thank you for making our stay great. The rooms are great, and the room location is pristine. Loved our stay, the food , the service and overall hospitality"
Sigiriya Forest Edge By Marino Leisure
"Facilities: New Service: Very friendly Meals: Delicious"
Water Garden Sigiriya - 30 Chic Designed Private Villas Overlooking Sigiriya
"A beautiful hotel, that looks like a nature preserve. The 30 rooms are set, in between waterbodies/ lilly ponds and rice paddy fields with birds including peacocks and egrets. You also have a view of the Sigiria rock. The villas are spacious, the staff are attentive , the restaurant serves a wide variety of Srilankan and western cusine. Would highly recommend this hotel for luxurious nature experience.. Our server Kasun and our butler Dilmeet were exceptional. The spa experience was good as well."
Liyya Water Villas
"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
Hotel Sigiriya
"The hotel is generally good, but overpriced. Due to its proximity to nature, be prepared for monkeys running on the roofs of the buildings and wild elephants in the surrounding area. The views around are breathtaking. On the downside: weak breakfasts (wide selection, but not much tasty food) and insects in the room."
Sigiri Holiday Bungalow
"Stayed for one night: - good WiFi -helped with Tuk tuks to Sigiriya rock - nice Pool - good food (ordered koththu from the menu see picture) - good towels -ac working -friendly staff -breakfast was toast with omelette and fruits"
Freedom Village
"Everything was perfect; the hotel was very relaxing and away from the noise of the city. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring! I highly recommend it for a getaway to Dambulla."
Pahana Village Sigiriya
"Fantastic environment with peacocks roaming all over. Very Good hospitalaty extended by the staff. Rooms were tidy and comfortable with nice linens. Enjoyed with delicious food receips. Had a wonderful and adventurous two nights. Great service."
Sigiri Hibiscus Villa
"We stayed here for 3 nights and what a lovely place to stay! The staff are very accommodating and will make sure you have everything you need to have the experience in Sigiriya! They offer trips and tours from the hotel which we didn’t know so booked separately but they came to the rescue when our second day tour was cancelled! The owner quickly got a service running to show us the ancient city of Polunuwara! The breakfast is lovely! We got a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast on our second day which was lovely and eggs, toast fruit etc the other days which was perfect for us! We did loose electricity one but this was due to the scared day and needing power elsewhere for celebrations! This was no problem as the owners made sure to have everything up and running for us by the time we returned from our first day trip! It is only a short walk to restaurants and the lake so is in the best spot! Would 100% recommend here to stay in sigiri!"
Amaya Lake Dambulla
"The environment is really nice, the facilities are old and not very clean. The service is OK. There are 2 swimming pools, and I recommend the one inside the hotel. There are little monkeys, squirrels, and little lizards. The food is average, but the price is OK."
Camellia Resort and Spa -Sigiriya
"Thank you Mrs Chandi for great masage. After a long journey withaut sleeping it was like a medicine having a masage like this"
Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka
"An amazing place, calm, peaceful, it’s like an oasis. Poolside views looking out to the rice paddies, the most amazing shower we’ve had since travelling. Staff are all so friendly and helpful nothing was too much to ask. Buffet style dinner was delicious if you don’t fancy going out anywhere and a tasty breakfast."
Sigiriya Rock Gate Resort
"Staying in a tree house, the breakfast location has a wide view"
Hungry Lion Sigiriya
"Welcome drink and breakfast included."
Oak Ray Elephant Lake
"Whilst the hotel is value for money , attention to detail is lacking and so many things could improve the stay, beds comfy and clean but no hand towels, no plug in the bath, pool area swept but pool is not clean, no aircon in the restaurant, staff are helpful but feel like they lack training. Central location and pretty natural grounds make this a good place to stay for a day or two"
Arika Villa
"Great hotel - very attentive service, lovely food, kids enjoyed the pool. Very spacious adjoining rooms."
