MMauveMHad a wonderful stay here at Forest Inn, Hainan University! My cousin is starting university nearby and we came to drop her off. Since we had stayed in the downtown before, we wanted to find a place close to campus to experience. This hotel is the best option! It’s right within the campus entrance and easy to navigate to. The front desk concierge’s were very friendly and kind - two of them even took us around on the tour bus to familiarize us with the campus and surrounding area. They even went out of their way and offered to help us unload luggage. Since there was no parking space on move-in day, having the option to drop off saved us a lot of hassle. In addition to campus, the hotel is also located close to a botanical garden, about 15 minutes to the downtown area, and close to shops, stores, etc.
Some suggestions:
- Wish the pool was accessible as advertised on Trip but it’s now only a kiddie pool.
- For longer stays, room amenities should be replenished daily based on number of guests.
- I received a rather expensive delivery during my stay and asked the courier to leave it with the front desk as I was out during that time. There was someone at the front desk with a poor attitude who denied that any deliveries arrived and suggested it had been delivered to another location. Luckily, another staff member helped me check and found my delivery. I suggest besides giving guests misleading information, to ensure it’s accurate first.

AARC5555The stay at the Danzhou Seaview Baili Hotel was very pleasant. The check in was convenient and all staff very friendly. The room had a quite modern appearance , was decently equipped and was quite big. Sadly we didnt get a sea/ port sided room, otherwise the view would probably have also been great.
The roomservice came every day between 8 and 9 for cleaning and reequipping the room. My only wish would be that when they knock the door twice, they actually wait a little longer for a response. They always entered very quickly and didnt give me enough time to even reach the door and open.
The breakfast selection is probably the only thing that was a little disappointing. Not that many choices and only some minor changes every day. Especially the limited fruit selection is a bit sad, given the availability on Hainan. But for the pricepoint of the hotel I dont want to complain much. The food was alright and will definitely get you full. Around the hotel are many shops, restaurants and streetvendors that provide decent choices for dinner.
Now to the big plus point, the free of charge clothes washing service (basic washing and drying). Quick and efficient, and you always have fresh clothes given the hot climate. Lastly the hotel also offers a free afternoon tea and snack service at the top floor. Again the choices are very limited, but it is still a nice thing to have.

The whole new startrac equipment! Although not a high-end product! But it's OK! I also often use Starz when I travel in San Francisco! The West Coast is very popular! And the brand new condition is still great! The power area of nautilius is also quite satisfactory! But the laundry machine almost means it! Haier still can't function as a commercial machine! The meeting room is very messy and suspects that the pillow is in the meeting! The outdoor garden is too perfunctory! No mood at all! Not in line with the concept of garden! I feel that the boss investment is very searched! But the gym and breakfast are OK! The room is also OK! It is better to engage in activities during the Spring Festival!

The first time I stepped out of the elevator, there was a strong smell of carpet. It really stunk.
The second time I washed my face, the water in the wash basin did not drain out halfway through. It was blocked and no matter how hard I tried, it was useless.
Third, when I gave my child a bath, he was sprayed all over by the boiling water. The shower head was broken and leaking, and it was not a small leak. I am really grateful.
The fourth and most frustrating thing for me is that the lights in the aisles and bar are broken! ! ! It stayed on all night, and stayed on like this all night. Even when I pulled out the card, it remained indifferent. If it weren’t for the fact that the children were asleep and I was afraid that they would wake up and make trouble, I really didn’t want to hold it in all night. This night was simply mine. Nightmare.
But one thing to say, the service of the lady at the check-in front desk was very warm. When I saw that I brought children, I upgraded to a parent-child room. The service was also very enthusiastic and gave snacks to the children, which was personalized. Restaurant waiters are also friendly
As the only old hotel with a good brand reputation in Danzhou City, I don't know how to describe the room like this.

The water is large and hot and it is very comfortable to take a shower. However, there is no soft water treatment. After washing, you must use body lotion. The bedding is also dry and quite good. Cleaning is provided every day. The TV is big and clear, and there is a night market downstairs with a lot of delicious food, but the road is being renovated and it is not very convenient to get in and out. There are only gravel roads.

It is very new and has no smell. The garage downstairs is like a maze. Ordinary road blind people can easily get lost and wander in the garage for a lifetime without being able to get out. The butler service is good, but the disadvantage is that they only provide a bottle of water and a bath towel. The mattress is covered with a layer of plastic, which is airtight when lying on it. Change the quilt to a thinner one, after all, this is not the Northeast. Anyway, this bed looks nice, but I didn’t sleep well all night. Also, the tap water smelled like kerosene. Compared with Island No. 2, those who like quietness and style will definitely choose to live here.
