Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

The Inn is located at the top of the upper Yubeng village. The good point is that you can have a very good unblock view. The downside for now is that you need to climb up from the lower Yubeng or call a car to send you up. But this will not be an issue after the authority completes road construction from Xidang village. The Inn has its own resturant. My wife and I enjoy the food they serve. It's really one of the better ones in the village. Part of the Inn is still under construction. It will become nicer after they complete it. The room price is on a higher end but we enjoyed our stay.

This is, by far, one of the cleanest, well kept places in Upper Yubeng village. The room I stayed in was very spacious, immaculately clean, and had a lovely view of the mountains to the side picture window. At night I slept with the window open to feel the cool mountain breeze, and it was lovely to be awakened by the sound of mules baying rather than the honking of cars in the big city! It is clear that the owners of this inn, two young brothers, have a vision for this place that is quite different than the other inns around. From the quality of the towels and the bedding, to the Zen open concept communal area downstairs, there is more of a Western feel to this hotel than others I have stayed in in the area. While the upper floors contain the private rooms, the bottom floor is more like a hostel with rooms that contain 4 to 5 beds. There is a pool table right outside those rooms so you can entertain yourselves in the evening after hiking. Another great thing about the end is the two brand new big load washing machines where, for only 10 RMB, they provide soap and you can wash and hang your sweaty clothes after a day on the mountain. The shared sinks, toilets, and showers, for the hostelers are equally as immaculate as the private rooms upstairs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hostel as clean as this one! The kitchen also serves up good food and there’s plenty of cold beer and other drinks in the fridge in the reception. One thing I forgot to mention, is that on the upper floors there are small areas where you can sit in a swing chair or at a table and read a book or drink tea. Also, though I didn’t ask for it myself, I saw other guests at the end of the day soaking their feet in traditional wooden barrels provided by the hotel. Both of the brothers were lovely and highly accommodating. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others traveling in the Yubeng area!

We arrived at the hotel close to 10 PM, and were greeted by the most incredibly warm reception (never encountered a more enthusiastic host/hostess before)! We booked the only room on the 5thfloor and the view from the room was simply breathtaking, beyond words like unbeatable, stunning, and magnificent. The only slight drawback was the cloudy weather that prevented us from seeing the full splendor of the ”Golden Mountain.” We left early the next day in a rush, but despite the short stay, the hosts' enthusiastic reception made our experience wonderful. Good location for hikes starting in Lower Yubeng with a nice view. Room was well appointed, with warm showers, heating, and comfortable beds - everything needed after a day of trekking. Staff are friendly and happy to help, and provided great advice on hiking in the area. We were provided with crampons and walking poles to borrow for free.

Very satisfied! The room is very clean! Very cost-effective! The boss is very enthusiastic and keeps giving advice to friends who come to Yubeng for the first time. He lent us a hiking pole and patiently helped us find the way. In the end, he was very responsible and arranged for someone to send our leftovers to Lijiang. 10 points! The first choice for hikers to Yubeng!

The hotel was booked in Yubeng during the New Year, and two were booked. This is the second one. When I first looked at it on the platform, the decoration of the room was because of the wooden board. It felt like there was some old feeling. After actually going to check in, I found that it was much better than I thought, and the room was actually better than the picture. Before I went, I read the comments and said that the beef noodles in the store were delicious. I wanted to eat it the next morning, but there was no more. It’s a little regrettable to be able to eat beef rice noodles. Another thing that is commendable is that the boss contacted several days in advance, added WeChat, and sent me the contact information of the special line car, which helped a lot. thank you very much, The only downside is that the TV in the room cannot be used, and everything else is very good. It is worth staying, recommended.

The space is more spacious than expected It felt like I was back in my own country. The quilt was a little heavy, but we slept well. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and suits our taste very well. We ate there for 2 nights in a row and it was raining after we finished eating. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the lady boss is very nice. Regarding the Coke I brought, I just asked if I got it here or if I brought it myself. There was no ill intention at all. I thought it was strictly forbidden to bring your own food. The inn also has 12 cats, which are so cute. They have cat toys and electric blankets, which is really great in the countryside. Will recommend it to friends who want to live in Shangyubeng

Awesome location, I loved my stay at 下雨崩, there is more of a village atmosphere to it. The staff was very friendly, and the guesthouse was very well located, especially to hike to the Yubeng Waterfall and the Ninong Valley. Would recommend.

The price is not high, very affordable, the viewing angle is very good, you can see three snow-capped mountains, Shenvfeng, Wuguanfeng, and General Peak. The dishes cooked by the boss are also very good, and the secret water is made. It is really amazing and so cool. I can see the starry sky at night, and the boss taught me how to adjust the parameters of the starry sky. It is recommended, next time I go to Yubeng, I will choose Shanyue Inn. The boss is very good and explained many stories about Yubeng. When I left the village, I also sent me a road map for the Nylon Grand Canyon. The road map was made by the boss himself on foot. It was very good. Where to turn left, and where to go straight is marked very clearly.
