Because of the business in Ireland, I traveled to Shanghai and Dublin many times. This time I stayed with my husband for a week and made a visit to Dublin. Through the recommendation of local friends and his own strategy, this time I chose the Mount Herbert Hotel. This hotel was chosen because the hotel has a certain history but is newly renovated. The hotel is located in the upscale area of the city, safe and quiet. It can take a few minutes walk to the seaside along the famous Sandymon Promenade, or walk for a few minutes. The DART station takes you directly to the city centre by DART. (DART is Dublin's subway name and can reach many places.) The hotel is very good value for money. The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. It was very relaxing. The breakfast is very rich, the parking is very convenient, the hotel staff is very warm, with a smile, ask where to eat, play very enthusiastic guidance. Ireland in April is only dark until 9:00, let us have the opportunity to walk around after dinner. The front of the hotel is very wide, with a statue of a rugby player. The famous Aviva Stadium, originally known as the Irish national football ”rugby”, is next to it. Great Location. Room is a bit small and can also be cleaner. Hotel staff is able to locate the shirts that I forgot in the room however, hotel staff is not able to send the shirts back to me even as I was willing to pay. I had to arrange my own courier service to pick them up. Surprised that Hilton cannot provide this service.

We booked the Wilder last minute. The location is central but also not right in the middle so it was nice to chill away from the hustle and bustle of town yet it was easy to walk to. The staff were very easy to deal with and the cleaners and room staff were lovely and really helpful as were the bar staff. The complimentary gin and tonic, and the turn down room service in the evening were a lovely touch. The two next door rooms decided to have a party at about 1145 which went for half an hour so i called reception and they quickly contacted the rooms, and I was able to get to sleep. The ONLY thing i would say is we upgraded our room but our shower was tiny, im 6ft 2 so thought it was me but even my wife who is 5'5 found it hard to move in the thing. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone as a perfect place for couple of business trips.

We spent a comfortable 3 nights here. The rooms are not large but adequate for a short stay. Toilet/shower modern fittings and good. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine for a morning coffee in the room. The hotel decor is vibrant, modern and ”full” but I liked it. The decor in the bar and dining area is modern and bold. The staff were especially welcoming and helpful. The location is a bit out of town, so quieter with a local-feel.

The location is good, you can walk to important attractions in Dublin for half an hour; the hotel service is good, and guests can do their best to meet their needs; the food in the hotel restaurant is also delicious 😋
