Allanton Inn ★★★
"We had dinner here last night (26.6.26) in this lovely Inn. We had seafood salad and pressed ham hock for starters and we both had haddock and chips for mains. The food was beautifully presented and delicious with great service. We loved that local producers were supported throughout the menu. There is also a great beer garden out the back. We will definitely return and recommend."
The White Swan Hotel ★★★
"Stayed at the White Swan recently for 4 nights. We were in a group of 5. We had a great stay here using the hotel as a base. Breakfast was fantastic with a great choice. We also ate here in the evening and the food was excellent, each evening had specials on the menu, Sunday was our favourite with turkey and all the trimmings. Rooms were perfect for what we required and the beds were very comfortable. The staff made this stay with each and every one pleasant to speak to and service was exceptional. If we are back in the area next year we wont look anywhere else for accommodation."
Chirnside Hall Hotel ★★★★
"I went with my son for deer stalking. What a fantastic atmosphere in and around the hotel and what an experience to join Chris with stalking. Diner at 5 and of we went. Shot two beautiful 4-5 year olds and on the way back had the opportunity to go for a fax as well. To bad my 12 year old son was completely tired from all the impressions, but a good reason to definitely come back soon!"
The Wheatsheaf Hotel and Restaurant ★★★★
"Booked here because other accommodation wasn’t available. So glad we did. A true gem of a place and standard of accommodation and food was amazing. Michael and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Can’t recommend this highly enough."
The Coach House ★★★
"The Coach House is in a quiet secluded location between Chirnside and Allanton. It's extremely peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need for your stay. Liz is very helpful and was available to answer any questions. It's a perfect place to stay for the Jim Clark Rally and I highly recommend it!"
Green Hope Guest House ★★★
"Wonderful setting in beautiful surroundings. A perfect peaceful getaway! Accommodation is pet friendly, spacious with all amenities, with fantastic hosts. Ideally situated for days out to the coast or exploration more inland."
