Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo

Most dirty and unhygienic holiday inn I ever stayed. This hotel rooms needs very urgent renovations. If anyone prefers clean hotel, forget this hotel.

It was nice staying there. I had to go Napier University , and there was no direct buses. However , for Haymarket and Zoo, its a good location.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was everything we needed really. Apart from the slight distance (20-30ish min bus ride)from the city centre, it was clean, well-equipped and also super spacious. Super value for money!

Good hotel all round. Good location, especially for a day at the zoo or to watch Scotland play rugby. It is easy to get to the city centre too. The room we had was big and clean. Bed was comfortable and there was a big telly. Didn’t get a chance to use it but there is a pool.

One of the major highlights for me was the hotel's location. It was perfect for my needs, being a short drive from the city center and conveniently close to local attractions like the Edinburgh Zoo. The availability of free on-site parking was a huge bonus and made traveling by car stress-free. I also had a great experience using the hotel's facilities. The indoor pool and fitness center were both clean and well-equipped, providing a relaxing way to unwind. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options, and the quality of the food was excellent. While my overall experience was fantastic, there was a minor issue with the Wi-Fi in the room, which was a bit slow at times. However, this was a small inconvenience and didn't significantly impact my stay. All in all, the Holiday Inn Edinburgh is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the city. Its combination of comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and friendly staff makes it a great value for money. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn hotel near Edinburgh Zoo and was impressed by the location, but the services left much to be desired. The lack of a direct lift facility for guests to transport their luggage from the taxi or bus drop-off to the reception was inconvenient, especially given the hilly terrain. It would greatly benefit from having a basic service like a lift to assist guests. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited for vegetarians, which was disappointing considering the growing number of people choosing vegetarian or vegan diets. Lastly, being so close to the zoo, I expected some sort of complementary or subsidized access to it, which unfortunately wasn't offered. A bit more attention to these details could significantly improve the guest experience
