We recently stayed at Novotel Edinburgh for our first wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a stunning view of the city. The hotel even surprised us with a lovely anniversary treat, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The location was ideal—close to all the main attractions, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed the hotel’s facilities, especially the pool and bar area, which added to the overall luxury of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you, Novotel Edinburgh, for making our special occasion truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

The room is spacious. The location is good, very close to attractions in the city centre. Love the free water in the mini bar.

Adequately sized room, conplete with amenities, I would have liked to stay in the room if it wasn’t for the wonderful sights of Edinburgh.

A little bit of walk from the train station  Not far from city centre and have a supermarket near by very convenience  Breakfast yummy

Always a pleasure staying here. Even if it’s getting on a bit, the location is excellent for my purposes, and the breakfast is plentiful. Pool and spa amenities too if you have time for that kind of thing!

Great and comfy hotel, really near the city centre with everything a 10 minute walk away. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool facilities plus the breakfast buffet was fantastic would recommend for a short or long stay perfect for a short 3 day trip to Edinburgh

Over priced. Nothing fantastic about the place . Disappointed

The room is big, very nice view, overlooking the castle terrace the staff are accommodating. the breakfast buffet is sumptuous

Very small bathroom, very few complimentary amenities provided, basic things like dental kit and bathroom slippers weren’t available

Good for a short stay, may need to avoid the weekend, too expensive

We arrived in the morning and the room was not ready yet. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the storage room. The check in was smooth, the room is big, the staff are friendly and helpful. The only minus point was the air conditioning was not functioning well in the room and the temperature could not be controlled from the room. It’s summer so the room was quite stuffy. Overall was good.

Good location, easy to access the castle and Royal Mile. Very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Quick to respond to request.
