Southside Guest House - Photo Gallery

The building is beautiful and it's far enough out of the centre to be quiet but close enough to walk in. When I arrived there was no one there to check in, so I had to call someone, that won't be great for people traveling from abroad who might not have access to their phones. Room was beautiful, light are airy, if not a little small

The location is in the city, on the roadside, with shops downstairs, directly accessible by bus, and the rooms are clean Clean, the design of the bathroom is simple and elegant, the whole building has three floors, it is more traditional traditional style. What's particularly interesting is that the whole process is self-service. You call to ask for the password of the lock box. After opening it, you get the key with your name, and then you unlock the door, lobby and room yourself. There is no sound in the whole building, but the reservation shows that the room is full. This is the best value for money hotel I have stayed in in Edinburgh so far. It is good and recommended.
