Fes Hotels with Bars

The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing, and it is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel is very well-treated, the hall and very wide and the reception service is really perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards.

Chain hotel, service is very good. The room I stayed in was just renovated and smelled a bit. The front desk helped me change the room overnight. The surrounding area is lively, there are complexes, McDonald's, various restaurants and banks within a ten-minute walk, and it is also very safe. The room facilities are exquisite and the area is slightly smaller.

Objectively speaking, it is generally good. It is an old house of more than 400 years. According to the Internet, Reagan stayed here and talked nonsense and communicated with the supervisor, but Reagan had a lunch here. The roof of the hotel overlooks the entire ancient city of Fez. The hotel is relatively old, the lights inside are very dim, I am not used to it, there is always a gloomy feeling living inside, but the location is good except for the view, it is on the other side of the ancient city of Medina, away from the seminary, notorious The infamous leather factory is a few hundred meters away, but the road to the ancient city of Fez must not overestimate your ability. It is best to find a guide, otherwise you will definitely get lost. The breakfast at the hotel is pretty good. Although there are fewer varieties, there are a lot of pastries and full of fresh orange juice and coffee.

We stayed at the Dar for two nights, and they became our most memorable nights in Morocco. Before and after Fes, we only stayed in five-star hotels, but honestly, they can’t be compared to our experience here. One thing that I missed in those fancy hotels was the interaction with the locals. In this Dar, however, we, for the first time, experienced the hospitality, sincerity, and enthusiasm of Moroccans from the staff member Tawfik. He is the most beautiful person we met in Morocco. We love how he has a passion for life and that he finds everything interesting. During our stay, Tawfik took extremely good care of us, helping us with all sorts of big or small matters. On the rooftop, facing the breathtaking view of the Medina, we had a couple of intriguing conversations. Honestly, we have heard many negative things about Morocco and Moroccans but Tawfik and this Dar have shown us many, many positive aspects of the country. If you want genuine and fun experiences in Fes and Morocco, you should not stay in five-star hotels but in places like this. This Dar is simply amazing.

The environment is good, the design is good, but I have never encountered the waiter who did not knock on the door and opened the door directly. It happened to be ready to take a bath. It was also a laundry fee. However, the clothes were not washed, and the iron was sent until the check-out. Did not send...

We stayed with two friends, I can not describe this place in words, in its Riad it is a dream, its infrastructure is beautiful, it is modern and at the same time classic Moroccan. The rooms are modern, clean, and well cared for. Without a doubt, the place is beautiful, but for me the most valuable thing about that place are the people who work there. Simon is without a doubt a jewel in that place, his service went above and beyond all the time, super friendly, his service is impeccable. What would make me return to this place without a doubt is the service we received. We were in another Riad, it was a good service, but I think the one we received in Brayan was much better. Simon and his, another colleague of his whose name I don't remember, were excellent. Thank you very much for being so attentive and I hope to see you in the future.

Bad check-in experience; the hotel environment and the location of the room itself are very good, but when I checked in, the front desk of the hotel told me that I could not check in without paying the room fee; then I contacted the customer service and asked me to pay the room fee first, so I paid the room fee in advance and said Good to return when we check out the next day; as a result, when we went out early in the morning, we still did not pay the room fee; and Cui customer service; finally we left Fez at 12 noon and got the room fee we paid in advance;

The hotel has very good location 5 minutes walking to Burg Fes Mall and near to the old city , staff at the Reception very friendly (Ms Hanan) also at the main restaurant, food whatever for Breakfast or Dinner are very good and enough, don’t like to forget the Housekeeping ladies are excellent, but the hotel now under maintenance for the rooms and some outlets I can give this hotel 6 - 7 from 10
