Popular Fort Lauderdale 4-star Hotels

I must say I almost didn't book through Trip.com after reading some of the negative comments but that was NOT my experience at all! I saved money significantly by booking through them for the Oceanfront Suite and was able to confirm with the Hilton property right away that I was confirmed for what I booked. I would definitely book using Trip.com again in the future. The hotel itself was in an amazing location, great room view and value for the price. A few updates would make it exceptional but overall was still great.

Our flight was canceled, and since we needed to stay over we were referred to Sonesta by a local. Beautiful and clean!

Although I found the furniture in my room to be old and worn, which was unusual for a Westin property, the room was very clean. The highlight of the stay was the exceptional customer service provided by the director of front office Michele Dela Cruz and the front desk representative Tatiana, (hope I spelled that correctly), they greeted me with a smiling face and a professional demeanor. They were very helpful and quickly addressed concerns or requests that I had during my stay. Let me not forget to mention that it’s obvious that the excellent service is clearly a standard because Suzanne and Freely were equally attentive in the lounge as well as Ambrose and Antonio in the restaurant. The employees have no control on how the hotel is furnished but they all made the stay enjoyable! Because of those folks I’ll be sure to visit again. Well done in the hiring arena Westin!!

This was absolutely the best Marriott that I've ever stayed at, by far. It was spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more helpful and professional everyone that I came in contact with!! The location was perfect as I was going to a show and it was right around the corner. My compliments to Assistant General Manager Debra Smith who was always available and went above and beyond to ensure 100% satisfaction. I noticed her with other guests, being just as hospitable. I also noticed her with staff members and she was very encouraging, kind, and motivating. She is the real deal, a true gem! The entire staff was outstanding I cannot wait to go back. Thank you!

Nice hotel in great location with direct access to the beach and local restaurants. Service was OK, the team always seemed to be trying hard to deliver best possible service, only exception was at the Breeze Cafe during the daytime where the lady really appeared to lack interest in being at work. Wonderful pool area which was surprisingly busy and good atmosphere watching the Fifa World Cup on tvs at the bar. Room was OK, good facilities. Only criticism was door lock to balcony didn't work and there was a horrendous smell on first day - like a dead animal or wet carpet?. I left the balcony door open whilst in the room to air it out which seemed to resolve it.

There was lots of construction but the Westin was amazing! The staff was extremely kind and helpful! The room was comfortable and great view!

This hotel was a joke. It already started when checking into the hotel. I did book 2 rooms over booking.com and already paid in advance so the only job for the front desk was to hand over the keys and inform us about the 200$ deposit for each room - annoying that such things aren’t communicated previous but still not the worst thing. The receptionist was that incompetent that she was not able to collect the money from booking.com. She kept telling us we only had paid for one room and the second one was not paid for yet and we had to talk to booking.com to clear up that issue. Complete nonsense we kept arguing for over half an hour and showing her our credit card recipes and she was 1st unable to retrieve the money from booking and second absolutely rude and not helping. She did not manage to provide us with any receipts and when we askd if we can just take a picture of the sheet we had signet where it stated that at least the 1st room was paid fore (after she was not able to print out a reciept) her college just kept shouting “thats the property of the hotel”. rude dude. Non of the personal there was helpful - i dont want to say any names because i don’t want them to loos there job but stay the hell away from them. So we had to pay for the second room again and I immediately called booking.com. I got to a really helpful girl and she confirmed that everything was paid for and ok from my side - then she called the hotel - after she got back to me she informed me that she talked “to someone who was really familiar with the problem but didn’t want to state their name to her” - like a coward - if you make a mistake stand up to it! Well the nice girl from booking.com did also tell me she had to “lecture the front desk” of the hotel on how to collect money from booking.com - such a joke as if it was not their job to do such things every single day. At that point i was so pissed at the hotel that i would have left if i had not invested that much money! (way to much if you ask me for what they are providing - totally overpriced) Later the girl who messed up at the front desk did inform us she had canceled the extra charge on our credit card - we will see if she did otherwise we will definitely take some legal steps. That was just the start of the stay … we thought we will stay in a nice 4* Hotel like they advertised on booking.com - hahaha such a joke…. On google it is only classified as a 3* hotel so big lie there. The beach is unusable due to huge amounts of sea**** - impossible to swim because they do not even properly clean the beach. The chairs at the pool are free to use but the sound of the air conditioning is so loud that you can not hear the ocean … not what i am hear for - same goes for the balcony (+ plus nice side note that the air conditioning blows right onto your balcony making sitting out there impossible. For the beach you either have to bring your own beach chairs or rent one chair for 15$ plus a umbrella for another 20$ per day. They al

Still the kind of hotel I like, but I booked the pier view room of the main building before, but I didn't know that the person who arrived at the front desk said that it was changed to the room in the deputy building. I didn't know what was wrong in the middle, because the room in the main building was confirmed by the reservation again and again and the customer service. But when I checked in, I was ruled by the hotel brother and went to the deputy building. . . The overall environment of the hotel is still OK, 40 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes by taxi to the beach, and it is very convenient to leave the cruise terminal. The hotel will provide a car to the pier for 6 dollars. If you do a cruise, booking a hotel must be a good choice. The surrounding dining and supermarket are also more convenient. Overall is OK

The overall experience is okay, but the front desk service is rather cold. I can't understand that the light show is held at seven o'clock, a meal time, and the swimming pool is closed too early. But the room is big and nice

From the moment we arrived, N.Casanovas made us feel welcome and well taken care of. His warm personality and excellent service were a highlight of our stay. The entire hotel team was equally friendly and attentive. A wonderful place to stay, with amazing people!
