This is the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in in the UK, but also the smallest one. The cost performance is too low and the check-in procedure is the most complicated. But the hotel is very beautiful, the location is good, the service lady is very enthusiastic, the breakfast room is amazing, and the breakfast quality is also very good.

The room is quite small and can only accommodate a 24-inch suitcase. The beds are two small beds of 0.8 meters. The bathroom is so small that there is only room for turning around. There is no place to put clothes when taking a bath. The room hygiene is OK. The surrounding environment is OK, right next to William Castle, you can see the lake view.

Travelled up to Fort William for 3 nights with my son (15), climbing Ben Nevis and canooing on Loch Ness amongst other highlights. Phill, Carmen and all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly overseeing a fantastically well run guest house. The rooms were clean and well stocked with tea and coffee and all you need, and there is a great lounge area with games and a tv, and a bar with a big choice of drinks including local whiskies. Breakfast, both continental and scottish, was plentiful. Overall a fantastic stay. thanks everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Phil and Carmen's place. The property is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable, bed linen and bathroom amenities provided were of high quality. Wonderful views from the lounge. The heated drying room is a boon after a day of walking in the wet Scottish weather! Excellent breakfast with vegan options provided. Lovely staff. But most of all- very warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly hosts. We'll be back....

Friendly and helpful hosts, great location, wonderful view, fabulous sleep in a cozy room and the best breakfast ever. This is an ideal place if you want to explore in and around Fort William or use it as a beginning or end of one of the long distance walks in the area.
