It was late when we arrived. The landlord had been waiting for us. There was a hand sanitizer prepared at the door. The host was very enthusiastic. He introduced us to the surrounding environment and told us where to eat. The room is on the second floor, you can see the sea by opening the window, the scenery is very beautiful

This is the most expensive one I have ever lived in the UK but the smallest one. The price is too low and the check-in procedures are the most cumbersome. But the hotel is very beautiful, the location is good, the aunt who serves is very warm, the breakfast room is amazing, and the breakfast quality is very good.

When I got to the hotel, I was asked to pay a little bit more than what was advised by trip.com, but every penny was worth it!
Location is great, staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room was absolutely fantastic, and the full Scottish breakfast was generous and tasty. The only disappointment was I couldn't get a bath because the bathtub obturating plug didn't work properly. However, the overall experience was good. Thank you!

Booked for the suite as we were a group of 4. The room provided us all the things we needed, microwave, fridge, plates, utensils. The only drawback is that we got the room on 4th floor and there was no elevator!

The location is very good, the facilities are relatively simple, like a guesthouse from the 1990s. The Chinese restaurant opposite is very delicious, the breakfast is rich, and the service is quite good. In British hotels, you are used to asking the front desk for a toothbrush.

GGuest UserThe service is great! ! We drove all the way from the Lake District. When we arrived, it was more than 8 pm. We missed the latest check-in time. The hotel staff kept contacting us through Trip.com before get off work, but because there was no signal on the road, we didn't know. After arriving, we saw no one at the front desk. We looked around and tried to call the hotel staff. The other party answered immediately and told us that the room number that had been arranged was not locked and the key was on the tabletop of the room. And there is a handwritten message placed in the conspicuous position of the hotel porch. Very touched!
We immediately calmed down, the room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was particularly spacious, and there were welcome biscuits on the table. Very quiet at night, good sound insulation, no movement in other rooms.
Breakfast is facing the lake, refreshing. The hotel staff also specially greeted us about our stay and apologized for the inconvenience last night. This is great!

SSIMONPrices start at £4 or £5 per night... This is an old castle hotel on the west side of the Scottish Highlands. From a common area point of view everything is well done and impeccable. But from the point of view of the rooms...the price/performance ratio is obviously super low. The facilities are outdated, so I asked for a humidifier... A hair dryer that was produced 20 years ago came, which was completely unacceptable and had no humidifying effect at all. The shower room has very strict requirements on the size of the guests, and I personally feel that the water pressure can be further improved and improved. The laudable point is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in the bathroom...all have two ball royal certifications, and the quality is also carried. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. The carpet is lint-free, which means it's ”aged”. Well, let's talk about the public area: the restaurant's production is still quite standard, with Michelin standards, whether it's dinner or breakfast... YYONGIn fact, Glencoe Canyon does not have a fixed attraction. After coming from Lomond Lake and entering the mountains, every viewpoint is an attraction. There are two visit centers along the way, and the scenery is not as good as the view point. However, the most beautiful attraction in Glencoe Canyon is actually in this hotel. The hotel is located on the peninsula in the lake, the peninsula is more than 10 meters above the lake surface, the mountains and rivers, large areas of bluebells, the hotel hidden in the landscape, a picture of a paradise. I knocked on the door for a long time and no one answered. I saw the sign on the wall, and I had to go to another castle hotel 8 minutes away group. When I took a shower in the bathroom after check-in, the light on the roof suddenly fell off, accompanied by the falling of the stone, which hurt my hand for 3 days! GGuest UserReally great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.
