Do NOT book this hotel - consistent terrible subpar service (provide wrong info, didnt communicate essential info, SILENT TREATMENT, slow service, wrong shuttle bus despite verifying twice with 2 different staff, only take down my cocktail order but I didnt get to hold/drink my order) from the reception, guest relations and concierge teams (many staff around but they are really bad at their jobs). No one takes ownership - talked to 3 different hotel managers (face to face) but new mistakes appear. Belmond's service -＞ avoidant style (ZERO follow up from any manager, each said I already spoke to the previous). Lousy service experience. Utterly disappointed. Good points - convenient location: (the only hotel) inside Brazil's Iguazu park (but service deteriorates due to no competition) and an excellent spa experience. Alternative to stay inside Iguazu park - stay at the hotel inside Argentina's Iguazu park.

Once in a lifetime experience. Do it. Treat yourself. One night is enough, maximum 2 unless you have the money for more. Get up early for sunrise and go see the falls before tourists arrive. Nothing like it. We didn’t think Y restaurant was worth it but the al la carte menu was incredible so go for that or Buffett.

To be able to see the fall prior to the opening of the park is precious. Facilities are top notch. Room service is fast. Shuttle service available to get to the gate of the park, from there, a taxi ride to the airport is only 10 real.

Thaís is the best hotel I have ever been to. Not just the landscape, but also the architecture and the service provided was outstanding

Fabulous hotel in an amazing location! To be able to see the falls before the park is open is very special. All the staff were so friendly and the customer service was second to none. Definitely recommend as a place to stay!

Location could be the main reason to stay in this hotel it locates in the park probably only hotel guest are allow to walk and see the falls in the morning before tourist comes n after perfect place to stay if you wanna watch sunrise n sunset of iguazu falls

Simply stunning! One of the best experiences at a hotel ever. The staff are amazing, the rooms are immaculate, the food is top class.

Wonderful hotel with the unique experience of staying with the Parque Nacional de Iguaçu. The building itself is also a piece of history and the facilities are top notch. The staff is very attentive, informative, and friendly with the exception of the registration/check-in desk. Most of the employees at the front the desk acted as if they were being bothered to perform their job which was such a stark contrast from the rest of the hotel staff. We are a younger couple that had been traveling for a week prior to arriving to the Belmond and we saw the difference in the treatment one such employee (Martins) gave to us, as compared to other customers who may be older or appear wealthier. In fact, we enjoyed the hotel very much regardless and wanted to extend our stay but we were met by ambivalence by Martins and Samuel at the front desk and instead of extending for three more days chose to save the money to stay another property next week.

Apart from being expensive, there are basically no disadvantages. This time I booked a waterfall view suite, the view is first-class, the room layout and hotel design are very old fashion. This year is the 66th anniversary. In addition, the hotel is the only hotel in the scenic area, owned by LVMH, so the management service is good, and the SPA is also worth trying.

Although the room rate is not cheap, it is worth it! 👍

Expensive, I hope you can get a better discount next time. The deluxe room has several beds. Why not a single king bed?

I must say that if you go to Iguazu, even if it costs you a lot, you must stay in this hotel. You can enjoy the scenic area alone before and after the scenic spot closes. It's so cool.

How can you come to Brazil and not visit Iguazu? ! The hotel is located in the park, so there is no need to buy tickets; from 6 pm to 9 am, hotel guests can enjoy the waterfall exclusively. The front desk can provide raincoats and hike to the bottom of the waterfall...

It is located inside the Iguazu Falls Park, so it is a great place to see the falls. However, as it is an LVMH hotel, the incidental expenses are quite expensive, so please keep that in mind.
