Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) is the most central attraction in Fuzhou, and I heard that officials and dignitaries used to live there, while Shangxiahang was for merchants and common people. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wenrufang, making it very convenient to get there by taxi or car for check-in. The 'Love Tree' is just a short walk to the main street. The hotel has an antique charm. The koi in the central courtyard are incredibly plump; they crowd together and almost jump out of the water when they see people! We arrived in the evening, and there was a Rongji Laohua restaurant right at the alley entrance. The seafood broth was incredibly fresh! Breakfast is at the Bingnuan restaurant across the street, offering fish balls, laohua, and delicious fried dough cakes in the morning. Next door, there's also Wenru No. 9, one of only three Michelin-starred restaurants in Fuzhou and part of the same group. Other aspects of the stay were good, but I'd suggest installing a few hooks in the bathroom for convenience. Also, the air conditioning was a bit tricky to figure out; I wasn't sure whether it was on or off. It would be best if the staff could thoroughly explain how to use it when bringing luggage to the room. I woke up twice in the middle of the night; it was hot when off and cold when on.

The traditional courtyard is full of historic charm, and the rooms are elegant, clean, and very comfortable. Downstairs, you can immediately taste authentic Min cuisine—the sweet and sour lychee pork is juicy, the pan-fried pork liver is tender and flavorful, and the cooking time is just right. Check-in also included a thoughtful welcome package full of nice little details, and the service was warm and attentive. Located right in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, you step right out into old Fuzhou streets. The slow-paced vibe is simply unbeatable—perfect for a short getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

The lanterns and white-washed walls with dark tiles at the entrance create an amazing atmosphere. The room was clean, quiet, and had a classic, traditional aesthetic. Breakfast was a delicate Chinese set menu—the millet porridge was smooth and paired nicely with milk, side dishes, and fresh fruit, making it light and appetizing. The service was attentive and thoughtful, with quick responses to any requests. Having dining and accommodation all in one place was so convenient, especially with the Wenru No. 9 Restaurant right downstairs. It's a great place to bring family to experience the slow-paced life of old Fuzhou. You can even mail their fish balls home, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Fuzhou.

We specifically chose Shuxiang Wenru Hotel located within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys (Sanfang Qixiang). Upon check-in, a complete set of tea-making utensils and welcome snacks were thoughtfully provided. Right next door is the Michelin-starred restaurant Wenru No. 9, making dining extremely convenient—authentic Min cuisine is just steps away. During the day, we explored the ancient streets of Sanfang Qixiang, and whenever we got tired, we’d head back to the hotel, brew a pot of tea, and relax in quiet comfort to wash away all the fatigue. Combining great accommodation with dining, the environment is peaceful and elegant, and the service is attentive. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway in Fuzhou, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

Right inside Wenru Lane, the hotel has a wonderful ambiance. The butler was very attentive and detail-oriented. It's super easy to catch a cab to the Fujian Museum, and Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) is just a short walk away. Breakfast is served right across the street and offers a great, rich variety.

I recently stayed in the hot spring suite, and both the room and the soaking tub were huge—plenty of room for two people without feeling cramped at all! The breakfast had a pretty good variety, including Fuzhou-style guobian (rice soup) and oil dough drops. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with great value for money. I'll definitely look for a chance to come back with friends.

The hotel's location is excellent. We took a taxi right to the entrance of Wenrufang, and it was only a 30-meter walk to the hotel, so we didn't have to drag our luggage far. It's also convenient for catching a taxi to other places. The service was great; they provided fresh fruit and replenished drinks daily, which is a nice touch since most hotels only offer welcome fruit on check-in day. The 'doorman' gentleman at the hotel entrance was very enthusiastic, helping us with our luggage and showing us to our room while explaining all the facilities, even giving tips about the electric kettle. Within a 2-kilometer radius of the hotel, there are historical buildings, shopping malls, and various dining options, making it very convenient. It's also not far from the high-speed rail station.

We sampled authentic Min cuisine, and signature dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and Chicken Soup with Clams were genuinely flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. Hotel guests also receive dining discounts. Located at No. 50 Wenrufang in Sanfang Qixiang, the location is superb. 1. The room was quite clean, and there were welcome fruits. The service was excellent; they helped us with our luggage. The hotel entrance has a few steps. The breakfast selection was quite rich, with local specialties like 'Laohua' (a type of noodle soup) and other standard breakfast items. The hotel's location is perfect, right inside the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. For parking, you'll need to use a small lot called 'Tangcheng Songjie Parking' across the street from the hotel. It's quite small, probably only fitting about 20 cars. Sometimes, you might have to queue. 2. Areas for improvement: The elevator was extremely hot, with no air conditioning. It felt stifling inside, especially in summer. 3. The hotel provided a tea set but no tea. We had to ask the front desk for it, and they gave us one packet (the tea was actually quite good). I suggest they provide two packets of tea in the future.

Staying in the suite also came with a lot of thoughtful complimentary gifts, which was a delightful surprise. The rooms are spacious, and the parent-child facilities are comprehensive. The staff were attentive, warm, and responsive. The restaurant's cuisine appealed to all ages, and there were discounts for hotel guests dining in, making both accommodation and dining very convenient. Stepping out, you're right in an ancient alley, making it incredibly easy to explore the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. It's perfect for a short stay with family and friends – highly recommended!

I made a spontaneous decision to visit Fuzhou and wanted to stay in a hotel within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. This hotel is located right inside the attraction, and the environment is wonderfully serene. The hotel's decor is very ancient and traditional; upon entering, there's a koi pond, which creates a fantastic atmosphere. I chose the Koi Room, located on the second floor. As soon as I opened the window, I could see the koi pond – that feeling was truly amazing. The room has two windows, offering great views and plenty of natural light, giving it a very good vibe. If you're looking for a hotel within the scenic area that has cultural heritage and isn't a traditional hotel, then this ancient-style hotel is for you. I genuinely recommend staying in this particular room.
