Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel Reviews

I booked this hotel on the morning of the 28th for a business trip to Fuzhou. The payment method was "stay now, pay later," and the order was confirmed and non-refundable. I arrived at the hotel after 2 AM due to a business dinner, only to be told that my room had been cancelled because they couldn't reach me by phone. After complaining to Ctrip customer service, I was able to check in. The next day, I requested an invoice for check-out, but was told they couldn't because I had made some kind of internal special request for check-in the previous night. They insisted I place a new order and settle the payment before they could issue an invoice. I asked the front desk manager if the "stay now, pay later" payment would be automatically deducted after check-out. The front desk manager said they didn't know. If I didn't want to be charged, I had to call Ctrip to cancel myself. After negotiating with Ctrip, I cancelled the order first, then placed a new order and paid, and only then did I get an invoice. This is the sequence of events. My opinion: 1. Since the hotel and Ctrip had an agreement for "stay now, pay later," it should be considered a pre-paid room. The principle of a pre-paid room is that even if I don't stay, it should be reserved, and I should bear the responsibility for the charge the next day. 2. You repeatedly emphasized internal company procedures. No matter how strict your rules are, they apply to your employees, not your customers. According to your logic, if I'm dissatisfied with the service of your store's staff, and I issue an internal company document to fire you, are you obligated to accept that? 3. Your service quality is extremely low and unprofessional, ultimately forcing customers to compromise as a solution, showing a complete lack of responsibility. Based on this review, I will follow up with Ctrip regarding their final handling of your situation. I hereby state that neither I nor any of my company's employees will ever stay at any Jinjiang-affiliated hotel again on business trips, as a form of protest.
