"The hotel is in a good environment, just beside Lake Geneva, walking across a bridge, across from a commercial street, LV and other brand stores are here. The hotel didn't have breakfast. I asked for 20 Swiss francs. I have to say that the price of Switzerland is the highest in Europe."
"I wrongly purchased a pizza that requireto be re heated in the oven
The long hair staff at the reception Kindly help me to reheat the food and.eat at the restaurant that im not entitled to. Excellent service.
For the room. It is small, but cosy and tidy."
"It feels like living in your own home. Although the hotel is not big, it makes you feel at home. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Lake Geneva across from the hotel. There are also several bus stops nearby, so transportation is very convenient. It is also close to the UN and WTO."

"The best hotel I've stayed in Switzerland, the service staff are very friendly, the room facilities are also very good, and there is a turndown service! The main location is also very good, there is a bus stop at the door of the hotel, and it is only a few minutes' walk from the train station. The subsequent hotels in Interlaken and Zurich at this price cannot compare with this one, I really recommend it!"
"The hotel is very clean and should be newly renovated. Surrealist portrait sculptures in the corridor are a bit scary, and every time you go in and out, you always feel like someone is standing there. The location is also very good, the bridge is the famous street. Next to the hotel is STARBUCKS. Check-in requires 2 single beds, although they are put together, it does not affect the use. There is a free apple every day at the front desk and bananas and oranges on the second floor. The only shortcoming is that the towel that was brought in was taken away by HOUSEKEEPING, and I went to the front desk to complain. I just apologized and said that I would return it to me the next day. I didn’t return it to me when I left the store. The casual, large strips of Europeans can be seen at this time."
"The room is decorated in a traditional French style and is very clean and tidy. The restaurant downstairs is a restaurant on the list of Michelin according to the travel book. Very full and very good. Colmar train station is a distance from the city. This is opposite the station and is the preferred hotel."
"Very good hotel worth recommending, the receptionist who received us is a little sister with Asian appearance, very polite to speak Mandarin , and upgraded our room. It is very convenient to open the door by e-mail key according to the elevator. It is a few minutes away from the train station. The nearby supermarkets are not small, the Spanish restaurant in the hotel should not be missed, the taste is very good, but remember to book early!"
"The most comfortable hotel on this trip, the front desk originally said that it could be upgraded by 145 Euros. Later, I thought that the original room was also good, but I did n’t upgrade. The bathroom and bedroom are large, and the service is attentive and meticulous, especially for breakfast. We ordered all the dishes, all of which are above the standard level. They are particularly delicious, and they are exquisite. Highly recommended!"

Great
HHaobinBoth the service and breakfast are very good. The location of the hotel is also convenient as the airport and shopping mall are nearby. However, the car park of the hotel is too narrow which is suitable for small cars only. There is also no direct access between the hotel and car park as the only entrance of the car park is outside the hotel.
GGuest UserWe liked most of the hotel. The pricing was reasonable and it was in a nice and quiet area in Geneva. We found the beds to be comfy and felt the shower was excellent with a couple of different settings to get some good pressure. We had two twin beds and the room had enough furnishings in it to enjoy but it is just a place to sleep. The room ran a bit warm for us in late October but having the window open helped.
They have a very good breakfast with a good variety of items like Swiss cheese, bacon, cured meats, breads and some good pastries. Coffee, tea and juice is also included and they have a few dispensers in the dining area. Hot water is available here in case you want to make a hot drink and bring it back to your room.
When we visited this hotel there was an internet outage in Vernier so there was no wifi available at the hotel for the duration of our stay and our cellular was blocked. The parking garage was also doing some painting so it was tricky to figure out the parking situation and getting into the parkade because there was no signage. We had issues with the front desk because the staff did not inform us of these known issues while we were checking in and we found it somewhat frustrating but when we inquired about these issues at the front desk the staff that I spoke to was rude, argumentative and condescending while the one lady insisted that they told us during check in but we were simply providing feedback that they did not. We had booked a twin room and a double room for our family but the rooms were mixed around and we didn't figure it out until the next morning and just thought it was what it was.
My wife and I could not help but notice that the staff in the breakfast area only asked people of colour for their breakfast card. Each time we went up to grab something they were asking someone of colour for their card to prove they were ok to dine in the breakfast area and it happened so frequently that it did not seem to be a coincidence. Staff could improve by asking everyone or simply having a front desk before the dining area where people could check in so they do not have to weirdly single people out.
I believe the hotel was charging a 25 CHF fee per day for parking because it is a third party that operates the parkade. They did advise us that we could choose to pay this fee or pay at the machine in the parkade. When we asked about the costs of the parkade the front desk staff nor the parking operator could advise us what the overnight fees would be but someone later shared that we could check the machine when we go to check out and we found a payment schedule and only had to pay 15 CHF overnight. I have attached the payment schedule to this review.
There is not much near this hotel but we felt it was a convenient overnight stay as we drove around Switzerland. We enjoyed some aspects of the hotel but there are definitely some opportunities to improve.
PPedroIt is Ok distance to the airport (although physically near you have to get the bus/shuttle as there is a highway in between). It is quite cheap for Geneva.
GGuest UserThe room was very clean and quiet, there are plenty restaurants and convenient shops nearby and it is pretty close to the airport. Besides, it has sauna and gym for guest to use for free. Good stay experience in general!
GGuest UserThe scenery is unbeatable. It is the best hotel around. It is convenient, next to the lake, and there is a big supermarket downstairs. There are no other hotels for you to choose. The facilities are on par with the domestic Four Seasons and Atour.
GGuest UserThe service staff were very enthusiastic, so enthusiastic that they helped me fold the clothes that were thrown around and put them in the box 😂
The room was also very clean, and the sheets were changed every day.
The breakfast was pretty good. Although it didn't change, I didn't feel sick of it after eating it for 9 days.
Some room types have coffee machines but no kettles, and some have kettles but no coffee machines.
You can take bus No. 15 to the city and the United Nations, and it's a 5-minute walk to the lake, which is quite convenient
SSaan ChoyRoom is clean and comes with the convenience of a small functional kitchen. Bed is comfortable.
Location is excellent. Close to the fountain jet, train station and shops.
Very quiet as well for the inside facing room we had.
Staff are helpful.

AAnonymous UserRuby Claire Hotel in Geneva offers a unique experience, though it may not be for everyone.
The hotel is in a central location, situated right in the heart of Geneva’s shopping district. Tram and bus access are incredibly convenient, with stops just at the doorstep. It’s also a 10-minute walk to the bus depot for trips into France. However, finding the hotel can be a challenge. It’s not a standalone building but rather occupies part of a mall/office complex, which might confuse first-time visitors. If you’re coming from the main train station, it’s two tram stops followed by a 5-7 minute walk.
The reception is located on the 7th floor, and the check-in process is entirely self-service via an iPad. While efficient in theory, the process felt cumbersome, especially with the requirement to provide a home address. Traditional hotel check-ins are certainly more straightforward.
The hotel’s design is modern and minimalist but the corridors and ceilings are in black, and are lit only with spotlights. Together with a maze-like corridor design, this aesthetic choice should raise concerns about navigating during emergencies even though there are exit signs.
Rooms, on the other hand, are compact yet well-designed, offering a surprising amount of space by European standards. The rain shower and the addition of a Marshall Bluetooth speaker were standout features, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. Another pleasant surprise was the galley on each floor, offering free-flow coffee and tea—a thoughtful touch for guests.
The hotel provides an eco-friendly incentive: opt out of room cleaning and receive a complimentary drink at the bar, which also serves as the reception area.
Considering its central location and the thoughtful amenities, Ruby Claire offers excellent value for money in a city as expensive as Geneva. This is a hotel I would recommend to friends visiting Geneva.
KKamalathaI went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
