"Very, very close to the station literally right across the exit, the room size is actually not bad. I was given a room on the first floor, and I was concerning about whether if it’s gonna be allowed and no noisy… now I have been woke up in the middle of the night from jet lag, I would say the room is pretty quiet. Might come back again if I need another transitional or layover overnight."

I had a great weekend in Geneva, and my stay at Appart-City Genève-Vernier-Aéroport went very well. The studio we had was perfect: cozy, well-arranged, and comfortable. The location is ideal, with shops nearby and very convenient public transportation to get around the city easily. The booking process was hassle-free, everything was very straightforward. The only minor drawback was the room window: it doesn't open very easily, which makes ventilation a bit difficult and causes some odors to linger longer in the room. Other than that, everything was impeccable, and I genuinely loved my stay. I highly recommend this establishment!

The room is very spacious, and the facilities are excellent. Transportation is also convenient; there's a COOP supermarket just 30-40 meters from the entrance. Tram 15 goes directly to the UN and the train station. It's also very close to Rue de Berne, known for its nightlife (if you know what I mean, wink wink). Overall, it's great value for money. Swiss 3-star hotels can be a bit of a mixed bag; I also booked a night at a 'Crystal Design' hotel, also 3-star and similar in price, but the room was significantly worse.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. They never replied to my emails, which made communication frustrating. Parking was a real problem — their own lot was full, and I had to figure out on my own where the nearest parking was, driving around in circles twice before finding a spot. The room was in poor condition and the pillows were terrible. On the positive side, the location is very convenient and the staff were polite and friendly. Unfortunately, the issues with parking, the room, and lack of communication made the overall experience far from comfortable.

Service was an area of major dissatisfaction. I felt uncomfortable and singled out during breakfast when a staff member, notably dressed in a blue-striped shirt, decided it was necessary to lecture me on how to use a spoon and fork at the buffet counter. This intrusive behavior was not only condescending but also culturally insensitive, especially towards the predominantly Asian guest demographic. Her constant supervision over my shoulder was unnecessary and unpleasant. You must pick up and return the serving spoon and fork to the exact same spot; otherwise, she will come over to watch you and place them back herself. Furthermore, the front desk staff lacked warmth and friendliness, their attitude falling disappointingly short of the hospitality one expects from such a highly-rated hotel.

The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a convenient shuttle service. Getting to the city center is also easy, and they even provide a free transport card, making it perfect for a layover 👍. The well-equipped gym was a big plus for me, I really enjoyed it. However, there were a couple of minor issues: the rooms in the annex building are a bit small; fitting a large suitcase can be a tight squeeze. This time, the bathroom power outlet was broken, and I initially thought the hairdryer was faulty 😂. Also, the main building, including the pool, is currently under renovation, and the front desk mentioned it's expected to be completed by September.

I've been in Europe for half a month, and this is truly the best hotel experience I've had so far. Yesterday, when I was changing hotels, I arrived a bit early, around 11 AM, and they had a room available and let me check in early. That night, I got a fever due to my personal constitution. The next day, the hotel agreed to a 2-hour late check-out. After checking out, I was resting in the lobby, and an auntie who was cleaning saw I wasn't feeling well. She pushed two sofas together so I could lie down and rest, and I slowly started to feel better. Being sick and uncomfortable abroad is truly a fear.

I went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received. I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.

This hotel is closed to the Geneva International Convention Center that’s just within 10 minutes walking distance. Besides, there’s also bus routes such as bus no.8 that can go to the city centre for shopping and the lakeside to see the beautiful fountain. After finishing shopping and sightseeing in the city centre, it’s also okay to take the same bus no.8 to come back to the hotel.

There is a 24-hour reception. There is a good breakfast. If you do not want breakfast, there is a cafe outside to choose from. This accommodation is close to the train station 2 minutes. There are many restaurants to choose from around the hotel. You can walk to Lake Geneva 5 minutes from the hotel. It is convenient.

Very well located hotel. The facilities are no longer brand new, but nevertheless clean and functional. The room was a reasonable size, not huge but big enough for a two-day stay. The staff is polite and attentive. Nothing to complain about, except that it's a little hot.
