The check in was terrible especially when booked from 3rd party app. Maybe due to public holiday Peak season. Not able to do self service check in. Took a queue number with 135pax infront of us and the wait was 6hr !! We reached at 1pm and only managed to get our keys at 5pm ! *Note: Take a queue number first ! Then try self check in. If not able to then the assistant check in. Self check in saw that you are able to choose connecting rooms, room views, bed size. Some need to pay extra for it. On the 2nd day we had more families coming in and again cannot do self check in. Tried to take queue number for reception CS at 9am but they said too early so do not allow us to take any tickets. By the time we return to take a queue tix at 11.30am it was like 100pax infront of us. Came back again at around 2pm and the queue number was really slow. Tried self check in ...again not able to. CS told us those with booking number need to queue at machine with assistant and there are ONLY one of it. Lucky we had the reception cs tix so we queue at both ends and see which is faster. Reception CS is faster. Ends up check in only around 4pm. Believed if you bought the hotel room direct from Genting. Self check in will be a breeze. Room wise - still acceptable for us being a budget range. Bed and pillow was soft. There's hair dryer, safe, fan, tv, bathing soap, container for water, hot and cold water outside. Hot and cold shower. Separate shower and toilet. Packet Tissue. Toilet paper. Note : The shower room does not have any hook inside ! Only outside. So if staying with friends...you need to figure out how to cloth up. Suggestion: Plastic bag of clothing outside. Towel on plastic bag. Wrap and go toilet to change? Hahah Not included - aircon, toothbrush, room slippers, kettle, beverage. View...what they given us was no view...just opposite view of rooms and mouldy on the walls due to the weather. Saw self check in you can choose mountains view...or you can request from the reception CS. Love the locations as all amenities are downstairs.

My check in time is 3pm  I need to quee  My number is 2512 now serving is 2316 I have to wait for my time to check in . I get the room by 11pm I wait for 7 hours to get my room when I get the Room 8775 the room is 2 single bed . I book for 1 king size bed . This is very bad service that oi experience in my travel history. Im very disappointed it’s not worthed to get the hotel anymore

Good environment for families with kids. But water quality sucks with taste of dirts from any water dispenser and room water pipe.

Room was very small, the pillow and bed was very uncomfortable. There was no water given, toothbrush or any shampoo. Their Body was has the same colour as the hand wash. I can’t believe I was charged 350+ for this horrible room. And they check in counters took forever, they have one whole row of counters but only 3 is open during holiday season?! And they simply charge us for the tax, they charges us RM62 for one night for the three of us? That’s insanely high. I will never come back to this horrible hotel, I suggest whoever is reading this, please don’t make the same mistake I did, and if you’re a foreigner and hotel is better than this rather than be charged so high for the tax for a cheap dirty hotel. Not even joking, the moment I opened the door, the hotel looks like those motel that charges you 80-90 per night.

Room small but not bad as everything located inside. Only minus point is the check in service need to wait for hours & not friendly assistant. Putting kiosk do it yourself wasted. Gondola also waited for 2.5 hours.

Bad experience. The location dor buffet breakfast are too far. Im lost at least 1/2hr to found the right place.

I had a great stay at Genting First World Hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to attractions, shops, and restaurants within the Genting Highlands area. The hotel lobby is spacious and check-in was smooth, especially with the self-service kiosks. The room was compact but clean and well-maintained — perfect for a short stay. The view from the window was amazing, especially with the surrounding mist and mountains. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was very convenient and enjoyable. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

The check in í abit troubsome using the self check in machine and there’s nobody to assist because too many people need their help to check in

Room is very small but clean. Stay is good just cramp. Overall will recommend to stay.
