"We got an adjoining room and soundproofing was poor. We could hear our neighbors talking. Also, unfortunately, the pool was closed temporarily while we were there. Strong winds shattered some windows and the glass got into the pool. They had to clean up the following day. Other than these, all else was fine."

"We had a room on the 28th floor and were impressed: genuinely large, modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great shower pressure, and all amenities provided (kettle, safe, ironing board, etc.). The highlight is definitely the view: on clear moments you’re floating above a sea of clouds with green hills and lakes below – absolutely stunning. On cloudy days (which is most of the time in Genting) you just see white, but when the clouds part it’s worth it. Small downsides: • The TV was disappointing – only the built-in local channels worked reliably. Couldn’t log into Netflix, YouTube, or any streaming apps. Transport info (important!): • Hotel shuttle runs only to/from SkyAvenue (****** & main resort area), NOT to the Premium Outlets. • Costs 6–7 RM per person per trip (not free). • Must be booked online in advance using the QR code they give you at check-in. Runs hourly, limited seats – book a few hours ahead, especially for the return leg. • From Awana Bus Terminal there is no hotel shuttle at all – take a taxi/Grab (≈25–30 RM, 25-30 mins). Food: We didn’t take the breakfast package. Cloof restaurant downstairs is convenient, but not too many options. In room dining available 24/7 but noticeably overpriced. Verdict: Still one of the best newer hotels in Genting if you want space, cleanliness, and those occasional jaw-dropping views. Perfect if you don’t mind the short paid shuttle into the main action. Would definitely return."

"Great location with lots of shops nearby. Easy access to the shops by using the link bridge to the hotel. Service was quite fast, when checked in to the unit there was no bath towel prepared. But after I requested from the service crew, within 30 minutes they had send the towel to my unit. One thing make it 4 star is because the bathroom was bit smelly but the smell went off when we open all the window for ventilation."

"Pros : This hotel location to be honest , is the far very best in Genting Can go Sky ****** & shopping is very easy convenient to travel to Compare to other hotel, this is the best hotel. Customer services also at top notch, just that tbh because is so well liked, after 3pm check in. You might need to wait for 2-3 hour if you need special request. Cons : The hotel is not really clean as in the floor is very dirty, stain every where. Not much amenities have in the room only a water kettle No air con but the wind is good"

"This is not our first stay here at this property. The main factor of this property became our monthly trip at least once a month, for 3 nights. The calmness bring clarity to me as a blogger/writer. There are 3 restaurant or more, 2 convenience store, parking lot, golf course, swimming pool, cool lounge area, mini open cinema at the lower lobby. Separation from guest area and lobby area make it more unique. Morning time always my favourite."

"The hotel was clean but the I found some hair under the bed linen, I have nose allergies also during the stay, not sure is it the dust cause nearby have some construction in progress, the TV is not a smart tv but can share screen, and the location I feel is acceptable because is near to the restaurant that I wanted to go, we choose to use grab to go to genting, the breakfast was very nice with the price I feel worthy"

"I booked Sky Retreat from Trip.com and during check in we received our room at Grand Ion Delemen Hotel Pros -a decent room size & bathroom -got balcony with mountain view -complete toiletries -RM99 only -weather so nice up there Cons -this is the terrible part: parking and receptionist is far, luckily I read the reviews on how to get to receptionist but I still find it very far. Tak pernah lagi i pergi hotel receptionist dia jauh macam ni. -need to validate tng card before going out in order to get free charge but.. again validation needs to be done at receptionist which is very far. Sangatlah tak convenience oh god. Buat pikir banyak kali bila nak keluar sebab malas nak jalan jauh -lift only 4 but the night we were there, only 2 functioning. Conclusion: Hope mgt will improve on check in and check out process, the lift operation, the receptionist placement. Will not come back once these are improved"

"Had a great stay at The Ascent Suites in Genting Highlands! The location is convenient—just a short drive to the main attractions but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The suite was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Loved the big windows and cool mountain breeze! The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly. There’s a small kitchen area, which is handy if you’re staying more than a night. Wi-Fi was decent, and the bed was comfy too."

"Positive: - Reasonable price - Walking distance to nearby eateries and shops - Small kitchen and fridge for simple cooking Negatives: - Long queue at the lift during check out, we took the stairs down from level 20 to level 6 - No kettle and drinking water in the room - No aircond in the room - No handheld shower"
