I have always been staying at this hotel which has ample parking spaces and close proximity to great local food. This year I managed to get it from Trip.com and being Chinese New Year, this hotel truly made my stay very memorable. There’s a great Bar at the roof that provides a nice view of the entire surrounding areas and witnessing Fireworks from a distance far.

The cleanliness is not satisfactory, the bathroom, the toilet, the pipes are broken, the room smells of cigarettes even though I asked for a non-smoking room, the service is bad

Front desk service was friendly and very good. Hygiene ok Environment OK The location is ok, 5-10 minutes walk, there are bars, convenience stores and food markets. The facilities are average. I don't recommend the bar in the hotel as it's very expensive. Although there are discounts on accommodation, they are still very expensive. Overall review. . Good review 4.5 stars worth recommending.

Check in. I waited for about an hour and finally checked in successfully at around 4 o'clock. At first, there was a Malay at the front desk. Later, it was replaced by a man. The man kept saying that there was a problem with trip.com and he didn't see my booking. After waiting for about 40 minutes, he said that my booking had not been paid for and I had to collect the money before he could pay. In fact, I had already paid the money. I showed him the receipt, but he didn't even look at it and said it was okay. Later, he said he had paid it back. I felt that the man at the front desk was very cunning. If he didn't listen clearly, he would have paid twice. Finally, I waited for the room, but the door lock was broken. I hope the hotel management can understand this problem.

The price is affordable and very suitable for backpackers. There is a bus terminal not far away and there are many routes to different corners of Penang. The top floor of the hotel is a restaurant, which is a gathering place for drinkers at night.

Stayed here for one night.The was a little grumpy when i asked if there was a room available that night however I took it as a language translation thing,I went outside and booked it through agoda. The reason for pursuing a room is its a great location, right in China Town, lots of bars ,food outlets. Room passable, clean no view but for the price what do you expect. Roof top bar okay but we were the only ones there, loud music which I think entertained the waiters. Nice cocktails ,great views.
