Hotel Inglaterra

Hotel Inglaterra

📍 C. Cetti Meriem, 6, Centro, Centro, Granada
★★★ 8.6 (83 reviews)

"This is a beautiful old hotel in the centre of Granada. The entrance and public areas are decorated with the traditional colourful tiles of the region. My room was a small single in the interior of the building. It was basic but very cosy. The bathroom was large and even had a bath. The area is perfect with lots of restaurants and bars and it is just across the road from the cathedral and an easy bus ride or uphill walk to either the Alhambra or the Albaicin area."

Pension Mesones

Pension Mesones

📍 C. Mesones, 44, Centro, Granada

"The welcome was excellent, with a 9:30 am check-in. The explanation of the Granada map was excellent. The shower drain problem was quickly resolved. We appreciated the little treats. The room was very small and the mattresses were soft. The cleanliness was excellent. Quiet and well located. I would have liked to make myself some tea in the afternoon."

Hotel Granada Center

Hotel Granada Center

📍 Av. de Fuente Nueva, s/n, Centro, Centro, Granada
★★★★ 9.2 (200 reviews)

"The room was very spacious; even though I booked a standard room, it still had a sitting area, and we could see the Alhambra from the window. It's close to the train station, which made getting around easy. Due to our itinerary, we arrived a bit early but were still able to check in. It's also convenient for visiting attractions, and many international tourists stay here."

"This hotel boasts a fantastic location, right in front of the cathedral and a stop for the tourist train. There's also a food market behind the hotel and plenty of great Arabic restaurants nearby. The service was warm and welcoming, and our room with two double beds was quite spacious."

La Perla Granada Suites

"It was a great hotel, room was cozy and very clean. Love the large windows and the view. We enjoyed the energy of the plaza right outside the hotel. All sites and restaurants are within walking distance."

Urban Cube Hostel Granada

Urban Cube Hostel Granada

📍 C. Piedra Santa 10, Centro, Granada
8.7 (38 reviews)

"It was my first time staying in a dorm, and the capsule offered significantly more privacy than regular beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. The capsule and common areas were exceptionally clean. Overall, my expectations were exceeded, and I would choose Urban Cube again. A few points, however: The wood paneling doesn't block out loud snorers in the room. The overhead light in the capsule wasn't working; I only noticed after checkout that there was supposed to be a light there. I usually get cold at night, but it got very warm and stuffy here because the capsule only has a fan (no air conditioning) for warm air. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped, but eating there is awkward because the counter is too high and the coffee table too low."

"Granada has many road restrictions so it took us an hour plus and many turns to finally reach the hotel despite seeing it along the roadside many many times. We had to get valet parking after we reach the Hotel and was recommended by the hotel to take a taxi around Granada instead of driving. Hotel was big and we had connecting rooms. Room was clean and nice and had a balcony. I like that they provided hand lotions for us too. However, we left a Samsung charging wire in the Hotel and left for another city. When we tried contacting the Hotel they left us on read. We wanted to see if we could get it mailed to our next Hotel so that we could collect it but nobody replied us."

"The room was extremely poorly soundproofed. I was woken up by a phone call from the person in the next room during the night. When I woke up in the morning, I found earplugs on the bedside table, which gives you an idea of how bad the soundproofing was. Another problem was that there was no parking at the hotel. We called the front desk, and they just told us to park on the street. This was very inconvenient with luggage."

"Hello, we had a very comfortable stay. To be honest, the hotel doesn't give the impression it's making from the outside. When we arrived, we were quite surprised because the exterior was rather poor, but once inside, everything changed. The stay was truly wonderful. The service from the reception staff, as well as the quality, cleanliness, and location of the hotel, were all superb. So, we have no choice but to congratulate whoever is responsible and say that we will try to return as soon as possible, if we can. Thank you and best regards."

"Good location 10mins walk from the city center. Got a free upgrade and was able to stay in the suite. Only downside was that it was right under the gym so there were a few moments with loud bang. Breakfast was also good and there’s water fountain on the lobby so easy to grab some coldwater."

Hotel Inglaterra ★★★
"The location of this hotel is absolutely excellent. It is incredibly central, and you couldn't ask for a better spot to explore the city. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The structure itself is very old and poorly maintained. The entire place feels dilapidated and neglected, with many things either broken or in a state of decay. Our room was in bad shape and clearly lacked proper care. We had a street-facing room located directly above several pubs. If you are a light sleeper, be warned: the windows have very poor soundproofing. You can hear people drinking, laughing, and shouting until the early hours of the morning, which makes it very difficult to rest. The breakfast is "international" style, but the selection is very limited and quite disappointing. It is such a shame because the location is truly unbeatable, but the condition of the hotel really lets it down. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you only care about being central and don't mind the noise and the lack of maintenance"

Sercotel Palacio de Los Gamboa ★★★★
"This hotel in Granada is truly charming and rustic. Tucked away in a narrow alley, walking on the cobblestone streets felt like stepping back into medieval Spain. The chandeliers in the lobby, the antique cabinets, and the paintings on the walls all whispered tales of times gone by. The hotel's ambiance gave us a taste of old-world European elegance. The room size was perfectly adequate; we could easily open two suitcases. The small balcony with its floor-to-ceiling window allowed the sunlight to stream in, and the white curtains gently swayed in the breeze, adding a touch of sophistication. Although the bathroom had a bathtub and the facilities felt a bit dated, experiencing such a distinctly European hotel made these minor imperfections fade into the background. Being close to the street, there could be some noise, but earplugs easily solved that. The only thing I found a bit unusual was that the duvet insert was placed between two sheets. I heard many hotels in Europe do this; I even encountered this bedding style in a 5-star hotel in Barcelona. Despite these small quirks, I still fondly remember this historic hotel."

Hotel Granada Center ★★★★
"The hotel is very close to the train station, so we just walked there with our luggage after getting off the train. It's a bit far from the long-distance bus station, but there's a tram stop (metro) right near the hotel entrance that goes directly to the bus station. For visiting the Alhambra, it's best to take a taxi since it's uphill and quite a tiring walk. You can easily walk back though. The hotel breakfast is just okay. The coffee cups and glass cups are very small, and there are often queues for the two coffee machines. If you're a tea drinker, it's even more inconvenient as you have to refill your tiny cup after just a couple of sips. I asked the restaurant staff, and they said they don't have larger cups or teapots. The hotel doesn't provide free bottled water (which might be common for hotels under the 'city center' brand), and there are no slippers or body lotion in the room."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the cathedral. It's a short walk to the Alhambra and Albaicín, and there's a Carrefour nearby, along with plenty of cafes. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they gave us great tips on local attractions and recommended some fantastic restaurants. The hotel breakfast was also very generous – definitely one of the best we had on this European trip."

La Perla Granada Suites ★★★
"Grab the local bus just outside the train station and ride three stops to this unassuming yet extremely comfortable hotel. The location could not be more perfect for all of the sightseeing and tapas restaurants in the area. For an extremely good price, you get a very big and comfortable room with fantastic views of the plaza and church across the way. Bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast restaurant a block away. Simply can’t be beat for the price."
