Lavande Hotel (Guilin Railway Station, Liangjiang Sihu)

Perfect location - right across the high speed train station Guilin. The room was spacious and had all the required amenities. Extra points for a Japanese style bidet which also played music when the bathroom was occupied!

Stone-throw away from Guilin railway station. Room not ready when we arrive around 3pm. Room is small but bath room rather big with a tub. Standard amenities with no coffee provision. Comfortable bed, smart toilet bowl and strong shower are worth mentioning. There’s is one set of washer and dryer. Didn’t use it as mostly occupied. Wifi is very poor (for level 15 at least). 20 mins walking reach the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill and further a bit is Sun and Moon pagoda.

I recently stayed at the Lavande Hotel in Guilin, located just across from the Guilin Railway Station, and had a truly pleasant experience. The location is absolutely perfect - everything is easily accessible from there. The breakfast was very good, offering a nice variety of both local and international options. It was a great way to start each day. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the food was always fresh and replenished promptly. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Despite the language barrier at times, they went out of their way to assist with directions, transportation, and any questions I had. Their kindness made me feel very welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend Lavande Hotel for anyone visiting Guilin — it offers great value, comfort, and convenience in a central location.

We had such a nice stay Lavande! The location near the railway station and the lakes and rivers makes for a great base to explore the city. The staff did speak English and was very helpful. The room was lovely, clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was Chinese with a big variety. No western-style coffee but there are options in walking distance. Overall a wonderful stay, would go there again.

We had a surprise room upgrade upon check-in. Thank you 😊 The hotel is located opposite the Guilin Railway Station. We took the underpass to cross over but it was under renovation and the escalator wasn't working. So it was a struggle for us to go down and up the stairs. We love the hotel's lavender concept. It was a pretty and lovely room. The music came on automatically when we were in the shower. Awesome 👍Although it was just 1 nights 'stay, we enjoyed it and will definitely come back again if we visit Guilin again.

less 5 mins walk from Guilin Railway Station and good location for overnight if you’re planning to go on Li River Cruise the next morning. Friendly and English speaking staff.
