Hotels in Yanshan/University Town, Guilin

The environment is very good, the garden is large, there are many kinds of flowers, the room is new and very quiet. The boss saw us bringing our children and upgraded us to a parent-child room for free. The only drawback is that the breakfast has less variety, but there are not many tenants. That's understandable.

You must believe in the quality of the spleen, good health, high-end facilities and taste, excellent location, convenient travel, and the whole experience is very good. The front desk is warm and considerate, give me a thumbs up, thank you!

We booked a duplex twin room, which was very nice. We chose this hotel because we were bringing our children to the university town to participate in a competition. It is quite far from downtown Guilin, about an hour's drive away. We arrived at the restaurant around 8pm that day, and there was no food available nearby. We waited for an hour for the takeout we ordered. Later we found out that there was a Wanfu Plaza nearby (about 20 minutes drive), where we could take the kids to play and eat more.

The room environment is very good, with a large balcony. The hotel is in the scenic area, under the Ferris wheel. Parking is free in the parking lot. There is a shuttle bus to the scenic area. The service attitude is good. I also watched the fireworks show at night. The overall feeling is good.

My partner and I recently stayed at Steigenberger Guilin, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel offers a luxurious ambiance with beautifully appointed rooms and stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The service was impeccable, and the on-site dining options were top-notch. Its location is perfect for exploring Guilin’s scenic spots. Overall, a fantastic choice for a romantic getaway.

The hotel was relatively new and staff members were responsive. However, for similar price, we usually get a lot more value-add services from peer hotels. For example, the butler service would have proactively checked in on us and offered turn-down services, which was not the case here. While there were supposed to be a range of amenities, like singing bowls etc., most were unavailable. Nor were there gym or pool open. The restaurant was quite slow to serve, despite there were only three tables. Given the location is a bit remote, this made staying unexpectedly boring. If you were expecting a staycation, I wouldn’t say this is the right place. Otherwise if just a quiet place to chill for a night, maybe.

The price of 127 can have such a big room, and it is still newly renovated, the waterfall shower, very good, it should be the best value around the university.

The inn is in the community, the community is under construction, the environment is very good, the rooms are newly renovated, the corridors are carpeted, and the house is clean and tidy. There is an access control at the gate of the community. Every time you enter the gate, you have to trouble the doorman to open the door, but the doorman service is particularly good. If you come back, you should stay again. Suggestion: It would be best if it could be equipped with a washing machine

The sanitation here is very clean, I hope the boss can continue to maintain clean and tidy. There is no noise at night and the environment is quiet. Although it is close to the main road, it is still quite quiet at night, and the boss's service attitude is good. Affordable price, clean and tidy accommodation, and good service attitude, you can definitely do business!
