This quiet and elegant guesthouse on the outskirts of Huizhou Old Town was where I spent my first night during my trip to southern Anhui. The moment I stepped inside, I felt instantly soothed; the hustle and bustle outside seemed to disappear. The room was a good size, and all the amenities I could think of were provided, and most importantly, they were very functional. The staff service deserves a huge thumbs up. The housekeeper contacted me two days in advance and was waiting at the designated location to greet me; when I checked out, they escorted me out and stayed until we got into our car; during my stay, they proactively asked if I wanted afternoon tea or bedtime milk; they answered every question politely and attentively. The service was on par with high-end hotels. The breakfast was average; it would have been even better if it had been made to order. This was something I made up for at the Xidi Boxin Yunshe guesthouse where I stayed later, where I had freshly stir-fried vegetables for breakfast. I may not return to Huizhou Old Town in the future, but I'll remember the Boxin Yunshe brand. If I travel elsewhere and happen to stay there, I'll definitely consider it.

Three generations of us traveled to southern Anhui, and for the last two nights, we chose Ziyang Yanyu Hotel to perfectly conclude our trip. Firstly, the hotel's location is quiet yet convenient, overlooking the ancient city of Huizhou across the river, only 1.7 kilometers away, with very convenient access to restaurants nearby. Secondly, as a newly opened hotel, it features Huizhou-style architecture, with blue bricks and gray tiles, fully intelligent systems, and impeccable cleanliness. We are grateful to the receptionist for upgrading us to a room with a view; enjoying a drink and a bath while overlooking the Yuliang Dam in the evening was wonderful! Breakfast was semi-buffet on the first day and fully buffet on the second. Although the selection wasn't extensive, the quality was excellent! Finally, I must commend the service. The entire team was well-trained, friendly, and attentive! I would definitely recommend it to others!

First, Huangshan is a world-renowned tea town, and a B&B with tea culture as the theme is undoubtedly an excellent choice. Second, the ancient city of Huizhou is known as the four best-preserved ancient cities in China together with Lijiang in Yunnan, Pingyao in Shanxi, and Langzhong in Sichuan. The B&B in the ancient city is naturally a superior choice. Third, according to the introduction, the B&B was renovated from an ancient house. It not only retains the original style of Huizhou ancient buildings, but also displays many cultural relics, which can allow adults and children to grow their knowledge together. The room types of the guild hall are diverse. Unfortunately, when booking, only the Japanese and British style rooms were left, so we chose the Earl Rose room type, where the family stayed. The two beds were spacious and comfortable. Next time I have the opportunity, I must come to experience the Chinese or nautical-themed parent-child room type. After returning from visiting the ancient city in the evening, I drank tea and chatted in the courtyard while playing games. The temperature was suitable and it was very comfortable. The next morning, we had local specialty noodles with toppings for breakfast at the B&B, and the taste was unforgettable.

We brought the kids to play in the water during summer vacation. After spending two days in Jixi, we came to this guesthouse. The road up the mountain is a bit winding, and there aren't many entertainment options nearby, but it's a great choice for water activities. The owner took us to a water park about a 15-minute drive away. It was quiet and not crowded, giving us a private experience – so much fun! The owners, a husband and wife, were very nice, and their two kids weren't shy at all. We went on a weekday, and we were the only guests, so they upgraded us to a room with a view for free. The room was well-equipped, clean, and quite spacious. We'll definitely come back next year!

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is superb, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help. The restaurant on the third floor has delicious food – I highly recommend it! And the fish lanterns are beautiful.

The hotel is new and parking is convenient with an underground garage. Dining is also easy as the hotel's own restaurant serves good food. The front desk upgraded our room to one with a great view of the water. The architecture is in the Huizhou style, with pavilions and villas, and the lobby features several sets of fish lanterns, which are very characteristic of the local area. The front desk staff were warm and polite. During peak breakfast hours, seating was a bit tight, but the quality and variety of the breakfast were quite good.
