I highly recommend b&b marini. Tony is a smug host, very helpful and attentive to the cleanliness of the place. You can rent bikes on site and use the kitchen (food and drink) 24 hours a day. I highly recommend this place. I would definitely like to return there again!
GGuest UserB&b is located near the central Umberto road. It is difficult to find free parking in the area but a few steps away is the parking for payment of the station. And here the positive notes end. I'm sorry to always make negative reviews, but I hope that this can be a stimulus for managers. But inside it looks like a basar, poorly-tracked entry with furniture put to the mouth. Small room, date furniture and different from each other. Recently renovated but small bathroom. Phon in poorly-tracked furniture. The morning was hot water, and it was impossible to do a shower; the evening was a thread after a half-direct water was left flowing. Breakfast in line with the rest, non-branded products even with a variety of products (sweet only, not salted).
During our recent Italian vacation, we found ourselves at loose end when our reserved VRBO turned out to be unacceptable. Luckily, we found the Regent and were able to reserve four rooms with zero notice. Not only did they have rooms available, they were balcony rooms facing the ocean. Additionally, one of their staff members, Simona, was especially accommodating. She found a minibus to bring all seven of us and our luggage to the hotel, and was gracious and kind throughout. The hotel was clean, had plenty of hot water, and AC in every room. After our dreadful VRBO experience, we couldn’t have been happier!
Definitely NOT a Palace. Definitely not 3 and a half stars Let’s stay by saying this hotel Ambra Palace is definitely not a palace. I should have listened to the other reviewers. It’s a dump completely with rude staff at reception. Whilst Agoda (don’t get me started on them) and the hotel website boast about having airconditioning this is not the case. Well the rude gentleman first said there is no aircon but when he is shown it in writing on the website and on Agoda the story changes to ‘seasonally available’. Well not at certain times of the year anyway. 29 degrees during our stay but aircon already turned off for the year. The rude gentleman who lost the ability to speak English advised through his female colleagues that their website can’t be changed to define when aircon isn’t available. Nor apparently can it be changed on Agoda according to him. So bottom line no aircon year round, yet they advise there is. Unacceptable. Now the shower? Shall we talk about the fact the shower head won’t stay in place making it a hand held shower. Unacceptable. So back down to my friend on the counter and in fairness he does arrange a room change. But changing rooms is never fun. Shower should have been in working order. New room has twin beds. We need a double but who could be bothered complaining again. Small rooms with very dated furniture and dated bathrooms. Very thin walls and we heard fellow guests in next room all night. The solution on the second night was to leave the window open and listen to all the street noise. Breakfast was okay. Location was okay. Don’t go to this hotel. Listen to the reviews We will never be back to this ‘Palace’
