I recently stayed at Astoria Plaza and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so kind, polite, and genuinely helpfulâit really made a difference. Everyone I interacted with had a smile and made me feel right at home. The room was super clean and cozy, which made it easy to relax after a long day. I truly appreciated the little touches and the great service. From check-in to check-out, the service was top-notch. We had more value for money in this very nice hotel in the center of Ortigas. The 2 BR unit is so big. The rooms are clean and service is responsive.

The hotel has an excellent central location near malls and convenience stores.
Staff are nice, friendly, and attentive.
Bed is comfortable, aircon is cool, and showers have adequate pressure.
Cons:
For a new hotel, the furnishings, panels, and walls already show wear and tear. Some panels and tiles show signs of rushed work. Construction noises are loud and I was not given any prior notice about it.
The room door is annoyingly hard to open.
Elevators lack card detectors on both sides; layout is confusing.
Security people are nice, but they do too much frisking of my things and the entrance/exit layout is also confusing. The lobby is too small.
Amenities are lacking, only a gym is available for leisure activities.
Overall, average stay with lots of room for improvement.

Although we had a little bit of issue with the check-in process (1. the admin couldnât initially find our reservation; 2. we were told to present vaccination IDs though it wasnât stated on the booking info that itâs a requirement. I had mine but my partner didnât have hers.), Sir Kevin (host) was kind enough to thoroughly assist us throughout our stay. The unit had decent kitchenware which we used since we stayed for 2 nights. It just seemed that the place wasnât completely cleaned before our stay as there were still some uncollected trash inside the bin, leftover butter in the fridge (probably from the previous guest). We also noticed that the linen and duvet had some stains. I just hope those were old stains and not from the previous guest because that would be really off. Other than that, the location was spot on. For the price we paid, it was totally a steal. I just hope the overall cleanliness of the unit would be improved.
