Hotels Near Vietnam Maritime University in Haiphong

It's very new. Hence, it's very clean. A bit soulless. Bang in the middle of K-Town. Pool under renovation (Jan 2025). Great breakfast. Super gym. Our room had cooking facilities and great fridge. Shout out to Annie, who went above and beyond to organise a Halong Bay Tour late at night...we had a boat all to ourselves (at a reasonable cost)...they should offer this to all guests, as you avoid the chartered tour scrum out there. Great Indian - Ganesh - nearby and convenience store across the road. One for any shortlist.

한인거리 중간에 있기 때문에 위치가 매우 좋은 편입니다. 한인 마트도 좀 걸어가면 3개 정도 나오고요. 하이퐁 공항, 고 하이퐁 마트(빅씨), 이온몰 등과도 그리 멀지 않습니다. 호텔은 2개 건물로 나뉘어 있는데, 체크인/아웃을 하는 메인 프론트 데스크가 있는 건물이 예약 사이트에 나와 있는 건물이며 이곳에는 주로 일반 호텔 객실이 있고 8층에 작은 수영장과 조식 식당이 있습니다. 다른 건물은 프론트 데스크가 있는 건물에서 큰 길을 사이에 두고 맞은편 좌측 대각선 상에 위치해 있으며, 주로 레지던스형 아파트먼트 숙소들이 있고, 작은 헬스장이 있습니다. 저는 아파트먼트에 묵었는데 냉장고, 세탁기, 옷장, 금고, 전자렌지, 전기주전자, 싱크대, 식기류 등 왠만한 물건들이 다 있어서 편했습니다. (빨래 건조대는 없었으나 요청하면 가져다 줍니다.) 방 크기는 매우 크고 깨끗 했으며, 침구도 편했고, 에어컨도 쾌적했습니다. 화장실, 샤워실 수압도 좋고요. 수영장은 작지만 나름 수질이 깨끗하고 깊이도 있어 물놀이(?)는 할 만했습니다. 다만, 바로 앞이 조식 식당이기 때문에 민망하지 않으려면 식당에 사람이 없을 때 이용하는 것이 좋겠네요. 수영장 쪽에 앉을 곳과 작은 샤워룸, 탈의실, 화장실이 있고, 수건 등도 비치되어 있습니다. 싼 가격에 무려 조식이 포함인데, 조식이 생각보다 맛있습니다. 푸근해 보이는 화교(?)같아 보이는 아주머니 쉐프 분이 요리를 하시는데 가짓수가 많지는 않지만 충분히 배불리 먹을만 하고 맛도 좋았습니다. 특히 쌀국수는 매일 흡입 했네요. 호텔 직원분들은 영어가 아주 뛰어나진 않지만, 친절하고 최선을 다해 고객을 도우려고 합니다. 제가 체크아웃 후 하노이로 가는 리무진 버스를 기다리다 버스가 저를 픽업 하지 않고 그냥 출발해 버리는 상황이 발생했는데, 도움을 요청하자 버스 앱의 정보들을 보고 버스 기사, 플랫폼 서비스 담당자, 버스회사 담당자들과 통화해서 다음 시간 버스를 탈 수 있게 도와주었고 제가 차를 놓치지 않도록 픽업 차량의 차량번호와 예상 도착 시간까지 확인해서 알려주었습니다. 그 직원분들이 없었으면 하노이에서 출발하는 비행기까지 놓칠뻔 했어요. 정말 감사합니다! 단점을 몇가지 말씀드리자면, - 방의 키가 카드키가 아닙니다. 열쇠로 열고 잠가야 해서 다소 불편했고요. - 창문 뷰는 공사장이라 볼게 없고 공기가 탁하기 때문에 늘 창문을 닫고 커튼을 쳐놓고 지냈네요. - 헬스장은 너무 작고 답답해서 구색 맞추기입니다. - 아파트먼트 건물의 경우 구글이나 잘로에 호텔 주소나 위치 검색이 안됩니다. 그래서 그랩을 부르거나 음식을 배달 시킬 때 좀 곤란해요. 주소와 위치가 나와있는 반대편 호텔로 불러서 그쪽으로 나가던가 아니면 반대편 건물이라고 한참 설명을 해야 합니다. - 역시 아파트먼트 건물쪽 이슈인데 1층이 외부에 오픈되어 있는 베트남 건축 양식(?)의 특성상 보안 때문에 밤 12시~1시 정도쯤 경비아저씨가 건물 출입 메인 셔터를 내려 버립니다. 물론 초인종을 누르면 나와서 열어 주시기는 하는데 체크인 시 그런 설명이 없었기 때문에 처음에 엄청 당황했습니다. 초인종이 어디 있는지도 몰랐고요. 놀다 늦게 귀가하거나 할 때면 경비원 아저씨를 깨워야 한다는 것이 좀 미안하긴 했어요. 건너편 호텔 건물은 프론트 직원이 있고 건물 형태가 달라서 24시간 개방되어 있어 편히 드나들 수 있었습니다. 몇가지 단점을 말씀드렸지만, 사실 묵는데 큰 불편들은 아니었고요. 가격 대비 매우 훌륭한 숙소라고 생각하고 추천드릴 수 있습니다. 단, 여성분들이나 가족 여행의 경우 피하시는 게 좋습니다. 그건 이 호텔의 문제가 아니라 이쪽 골목(한인일인거리, 반까오거리) 전체가 마사지, 노래방, 가라오케, 바 등 유흥업소 밀집지역이기 때문입니다. 여성분들이나 가족 여행의 경우, 이온몰이나 빈컴플라자 있는 지역에 숙소를 잡으시는 것을 좀 더 추천드립니다.

It is an old hotel built in the 90s, but it is well-maintained. Breakfast is located on the 8th floor, and the food is neatly prepared. There are also famous restaurants nearby, so it is a good place to eat. It is good for business trips or travelers~^^

Nikko Haiphong is a newly opened hotel with nice facilities and rooms. Common areas lobby, restaurants are not very dynamic kind of ghost areas ( cold feeling ) as per location and maybe due to the fact it is a new property. Good price for value. Nikko group standards 👍

Thanks for the super friendly and helpful service, perfectly English speaking. Studio well equipped, all you need to make you feel home. Supermarket 3 minutes walk away to get grocery or anything needed.Regret it was just one night stay, can recommend and will book again on next trip in this area. One alert: Apple maps showed wrong location but Google maps location is correct.

Nicer access to downtown of Hai phong area.luxurious vibe and exceptional services! Everything was terrific!

The room is conveniently located, the staff is friendly, the only thing is that I booked 2 rooms and both toilets were clogged, the staff enthusiastically helped me change rooms, the rest is clean and convenient, I will book again when I return to Hai Phong

We had a great stay here! It’s a lovely new hotel right in the middle of Hai Phong. Since most of the city was closed for New Years, we ate most meals here as well. They were accommodating to our 11 month old baby. The play room near the restaurant was a lot of fun the staff were all very nice and helpful. If we’re ever back in Haiphong, we would stay here again!

Good services and the breakfast is so professional. PHO ( noodle ) is so good taste. The room is so big and comfortable ! The bath is so good!

I stayed in a hotel next to my friend's community. The hotel was large, the front desk was very welcoming, and there were 3 outdoor swimming pools and children's play facilities. There were shopping malls and shops next to it, so it was very convenient for dining. I also ran into a friend from Suzhou and played with him in the square next to it.
