Mount Saint Vincent University
"Very isolated"
The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites
"Great!"
University of King's College
"Very picturesque old building on the university campus. Rooms are small and basic but serviceable. Shared washrooms are fine, and having on site coin operated laundry is convenient. There should be more attention paid to the cleanliness of the facilities and in particular the floors. Overall though a perfectly acceptable stay for the budget traveller, and this is made better by the friendly and helpful staff.."
Delta Hotels Halifax Downtown
"Hotel is located close to everything, but is in an area under constriction for the last 3 years. Hotel is clean, but dated. No fans it the washroom, so a hot shower leaves everything damp. Premium price for average rooms. 3rd stay there, likely the last."
Cambridge Suites Hotel Halifax
"Great location close to citadel and museums aswell as lots of bars snd restaurants. Parking is chargesble but we were allowed to leave car for the while day on our check out before going to airport which was great. Staff were very helpful and gave us a free upgrade to harbour view."
Four Points by Sheraton Halifax
"Very friendly staffs. Room was in immaculate shape. Very clean and comfy. Pool was warm. My little one had a blast. Will be back for sure."
Hfx Airport Hotel
"Average Hotel and one of the cheapest that you could get in YHZ although the rooms are old and outdated."
Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel
"room was so clean. breakfast was so delicious.. we really enjoyed time here!!"
The Westin Nova Scotian
"The hotel is right outside the train station, which is very convenient. The suite was also upgraded. The room was large and very clean. The front desk staff is very nice! There are many places to shop and eat around"

Hilton Garden Inn Halifax Airport
"Only 5 minutes to the Halifax airport. the room was super lean and super quiet."
Comfort Inn
"Extremely expensive for what was provided. The location is not within easy walking distance of any stores or any parks. The room was adequate, but the door had previously been kicked in, and the door frame had been patched with a thin piece of metal. Needless to say, this did make one question how secure the hotel was. My standard question is whether I would stay in the hotel again. In this situation, the answer is no."
Chateau Bedford, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
"Love staying there"
Coastal Inn Halifax - Bayers Lake
"All good. Great price"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites HALIFAX – DARTMOUTH by IHG
"For the first hotel that is outside the Francophone sphere for my trip, I would rate 6 to 7 stars or even higher."
Comfort Inn Dartmouth
"Happy New Year 🎆"
Moxy Halifax Downtown
"It is a relatively new hotel. Very clean. Good loation - very close to the seaside. Excellent service. Love it."
Hampton Inn by Hilton Halifax/Downtown
"Solid room, good service, for travellers without a car beware that this hotel sits on the top of a very steep hill."
Salmon River Country Inn
"Upstairs hotel, downstairs restaurant, very German-style rural hotel, recommended."
Surfside Inn
The Hollis Halifax - a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton
"I had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the area and access nearby attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the morning noise on weekdays due to construction happening across the street, roughly 20 meters away. It didn’t ruin the stay, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs or check if the work is still ongoing. Would recommend for the location and service — just be mindful of the potential noise if you're planning a weekday visit."
Clifty Cove Motel
"clean, face to Ocean, great."
