Aviary Hanoi Hotel & Travel Reviews

I was a bit shocked that this hotel was listed as a 4-star hotel. Three would be far more appropriate. But there are things that make this hotel stand out. The location is superb. It is right in the old quarter, so it's walking distance to many shops and restaurants. This also means that you will be dodging motorcycles and cars all the time, since the traffic is awful and the sidewalks are used for motorcycle parking. The one thing that really makes this place stand out, and the primary reason for the 5-star rating, is the staff. They are very pleasant and helpful. They make the stay at the hotel enjoyable. I also very much appreciated the convenient services that the hotel offered (currency exchange, tour scheduling, and laundry) and their tasty buffet breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to stay in this area of Hanoi.

Lucy at the front desk was helpful and knowledgeable. The entire staff is polite and helpful. Room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The location was great. Close to all the shopping and restaurants. Stayed quiet at night inside my room even though the streets were still full of energy.

I would never come to this hotel again. The rooms are very narrow and the bathroom is not clean. The toilet has a glass door, half of it is transparent, the toilet door cannot be closed completely and there is no privacy. The room does not have a window and looking to a wall, so there is no sunlight or view. The room does not have enough plugs. The staff are friendly.

My stay at the hotel was great. The staff were very helpful and provided me with lots of information for Hanoi! Thank you

The hotel is good location However the facilities is a bit old and dirty But we able to capture lot of good photo around here

Hotel with good service, very clean, and the location is perfect. There are lots of food nearby.

Small room..but if you are not staying in the hotel room for whole day , then its fine. The hotel front door is at the small alley.

Location good. service average. Did not replenish toiletries. Cleanliness average.

Its convenient and a few minutes walk from everything Just no window in the room but breakfast is good

Hotel location is very good and central for restaurants, shops and the bar streets. Though hotel reception is well furnished the rest of the hotel is looking aged. Room was clean, fair sized but there was no real window just an air shaft, no direct sunlight, no view and an extremely dark room.

I must mention the service staffs are excellent. Location is nearby Hoan Kiem Lake and inside Old Quarter where everything is nearby. The staffs seem to know our needs and answered us before we even asking. I will go back to this same hotel when i visit Hanoi.

Nice hotel, and friendly staff. Bed is so comfortable, shower is good. Mr Peter will help you to prepare tour and give you good recomment to see city. I love hotel location, near Hoan Kiem lake and food coner. Its only take 2 minutes to all famous in old quater. Breakfast is great We will stay in Aviary hotel when come back to Ha Noi
