This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We reserved for 3 nights and tried 3 different rooms. The first room was musty, damp, and smelled horrible. The bedding and all of our clothes were damp. They moved us to another room. It appeared larger and seemed to be ok. Second room- larger and didn’t smell. My husband opened the shower door to get in and the glass door shattered all over him. He was covered with glass and had several injuries. They moved us to another room. Third room- smaller and mold on the walls. We were going to just let it go. As we were walking out to start our day… they stopped us and said we had to pay for the glass door bc we broke it. That was certainly not the case at all. He gently opened the shower door and it broke. We decided to leave this disaster. The customer service was appalling. This hotel is old, broken tiles, musty and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The receptionist is very accommodating. Affordable price around the tourist and city area.

I loved staying here and will definitely return! The staff are incredibly friendly, especially David, who was extremely kind and helpful. He taught us some Vietnamese and walked us to the bus stops! This hotel is not any kind of scam, it looks just as beautiful as the photos and is just as clean too. Other staff that i would like to mention are Alice, Annie, and Jinny! All so helpful and welcoming!

Facilities are clean

The hotel is old, the staff is incompetent. I booked an executive room, it looked good in the photo, area 28 sq.m., bed 1.8 sq.m wide. We were settled in a small room (21 sq.m.) that did not correspond to the photographs with a 1.6 m wide bed, the renovation was old (the doors to the bathroom did not close, the door to the shower itself did not close, everything was rusty and moldy). The room is on the 8th floor, and the elevator only goes to the 7th, so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs ourselves. The water pressure is very weak, and either cold or hot water flows. In connection with my complaints, the administrator contacted the manager, but he considered that everything was fine and the claims were unfounded. I don't recommend this place! I wish the manager and other persons, when traveling, to find themselves in situations where they are deceived as often as possible.

I had an amazing stay at Trang Trang Boutique Hotel. Great location to all the tourist destinations. Clean comfortable room. They helped me book my halong bay and Ninh binh trips which were also amazing. Big shout out to Annie and the rest of the team. From the moment I left for Hanoi the team made sure it was my best hotel experience in Asia so far. Annie helped book me my airport pick up, provided me with great recommendations for local food and coffee shops. All staff super super polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and will return when I next go Hanoi.

Overall satisfied. Staff friendly. Find out the location. However, on the last night, the group tourists upstairs, next to us, and downstairs were so noisy that I couldn't sleep. It was inconvenient because the hotel could not resolve this issue.

MOLD!!! The room is a health risk cause the walls of the room without windows are completely covered in mold! After reporting to the hotel staff we were not allowed to get a refund on the cancellation!

DO NOT Stay in this hotel!! MOLD in the bedroom & Staff cannot do anything because another room has been fully booked (I found it still available in Online Channel).

STAY AWAY, health hazard!! There is mould / mold in the hotel rooms!! We saw and smelt it as soon as we walked into the room. There was also hair on the bed. We spoke with the hotel and they refused to fully refund us, they only gave us 30% refund for the second night when we didn’t even settle into the room or stay for a night. The hotel staff are liars and scammers, they lied to us and Agoda. We booked another hotel.

Wonderful little place, very clean and welcoming, in the Old Quarter neighborhood (busy area with lots of tourist oriented businesses.). I have stayed her several times.

Located in the center, but the room is a bit small The price is a bit expensive, but the service staff is very friendly ❤️ His English skills are quite strong, but unfortunately I can only use a translator to communicate with him, haha😄! I will stay here next time if I have a chance!

We have already reviewed on *********** and staff contacted us to ask if we would remove the review as the boss man would not pay his staff. The review in my opinion was very fair. And will always be very fair. Shabby Chic not boutique was spot on. I’ve had to block the reception person on WhatsApp as all they’ve done is pester me for the removal of the review, which I won’t because everyone then gets to choose.
