The location is pretty good. It's just outside the subway entrance of the First Hospital of Medical University. Diagonally across the road is Qiulin Company and Fendou Food. It's very convenient for shopping. There is a Laochang Spring Pancake next to the hotel that tastes good. The sanitation is average, the facilities are a bit old, and it's too hot in the room. I sleep with the window open and I really get hot and sweat! Breakfast is average, not many varieties, enough to fill you up

The service attitude of this hotel is very good. The facilities are very complete. There is also a free gym. The location is excellent. There is a subway station downstairs. This is the second time we're staying at this hotel. We were given two rooms located on the 2nd floor which are kinda make-shift rooms at the mezzanine floor. One of the rooms given has poor or no ventilation. Thank you to Trip. Com (Irish, Vera and Kate) who helped us resolve this issue with the hotel staff. Some staff at the counter look Over-stressed with their job and can be quite unpleasant or even rude when communicating with guests. The best part of the stay will be the scrumptious breakfast spread. We enjoyed the three day's breakfast very much. Overall, the cleanliness is tip top, too. It's located near to two subway station as well as to the airport bus stand. Harbin Museum subway station and Harbin Railway station.

The decoration of the hotel was a bit old-fashioned. We were hosting representatives of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference the next day and asked to check out before 8 a.m. the next day. Breakfast was not included in the order, so the hotel promised to compensate for the breakfast. Others are quite satisfactory, don't expect too much, after all, the overall price is here, in short, it has no merit or fault.

The reason why I chose Huarong is not only because of its rich historical heritage, but also because I can enjoy the luxury of being located in the city center and providing five-star high-quality services. The advantage is that it is close to everything, and that's why I live here. The hotels I used to stay in are either not available or very expensive. I have no choice but to live here. It's even more speechless when I go to eat early. There is only one egg, and the auntie keeps it 😂. The steamed buns are cut into small pieces and put in the cabinet, but the cabinet temperature is only more than 30 degrees. The restaurant has no heating, and it's cold as soon as you get out of the cabinet, so everything is cold, only one kind of mushy thing is warm enough to eat 🤣

I never write reviews but i need to tell all trip.com users and potential Harbin travelers that I had a legitimately life-changing experience staying at Xingsu Youth Hostel. The hostel feels like a home - you walk in, and the first floor is a living room/kitchen with a big table and couches and a front desk, the second floor is rooms, and the third floor is the all-female floor with 16 beds, where I stayed. First of all, I was slightly nervous about being in a room with 16 people, but it was so spacious and comfortable and everyone was really respectful, I had 0 issues with noise or anything. There's a nightstand and lamp next to each bed so you can stay up or get up early without bothering anyone. Everything's very clean and warm and comfortable. Great hostel. OK on to the life-changing part. I've stayed at hostels before and met cool people, but at Xingsu I made FRIENDS. When I walked through the door on my second night there, a bunch of people were sitting around the table, the owner of the hostel was making 烧烤 (Chinese BBQ) for everyone, and I was welcomed into the meal/demanded to have a drink with everyone!! We all hung out for many hours that night, and more the next day. Throughout my stay at Xingsu, hanging out with these people and chatting with the owner, it became very clear that the owner is someone who loves meeting new people and building community and facilitates these kinds of encounters. (And not at all in an obnoxious space-taking-up way, but in a genuine way full of attention and generosity.) I learned a lot about being a good human by staying here!!! Even if you're not looking to make new friends and just need a place to stay, you should stay at Xingsu because it's an extremely affordable and comfortable stay in an amazing location (like an 8 min walk from Zhongyang Da Jie, the main pedestrian street)!! In any case you will absorb generous and warm vibes here and will not regret it. ＜3

Good location (15 minutes walks to Temple of Heaven). The included breakfast was quite good, especially the yoghurt. The accessories given in the room were very cute. The facilities are new and well-maintained. Overall very good experience staying there.
