GGuest UserWorld class service! I feel very welcomed by the staffs even days before our trip. They are great at communicating with us and answered any questions and provided anything we needed! The room is so comfortable and aesthetic!! I didn’t wanna leave the room lol. There’s a complimentary bath and I picked the herbal bath. They prepared it very well by deep sanitizing the bathtub and brewing the herbal bath. We also did our laundry while we stayed there. There are a lot of traditional Miao Tribe clothes that we can put on and take photos for free. One of the staffs took photos for me and my family with their camera. She also helped me put on accessories. The view is amazing and the location is perfect for our stay. Their staff picked us up at the little north gate and carried our luggages all the way up to our hotel and they did the same baggage delivery service when we are leaving. Words cannot describe how thoughtful and excellent their services is. I will book this hotel again in our future visit to the Miao village and I highly recommend it to anyone!

GGuest UserThe view from our room was absolutely stunning. But what truly set this place apart was the service – I honestly found it even more thoughtful and personalized than what you'd typically experience at a five-star hotel. Our butler picked us up from outside the village, and from the moment we arrived until we departed, they never let us lift a finger with our luggage, unlike other guests who were managing their own bags and multiple transfers. They even insisted on waiting with us until our bus arrived to ensure everything was smooth. Any request we had for our butler was promptly and readily fulfilled. The service truly deserves full marks.

GGuest UserXijiang is undergoing major construction phase. Access from the viewing deck to the hotel is a tiny horrendous narrow steep dirt alley with physical encounter with ponies used for hauling building materials. A new hotel is under construction right next door and screeching of drills and banging of hammer started promptly at 7am. White painted room decorated by light colour elegant furniture provide a lively zen ambiance. Uneven surfaces at the entrance, breakfast bench and parts of the room resulted in a few trips and stumble. Modern and top grade amenities, toilet suites and voice activated commands took a little use to but very convenient. Breakfast was a choice between boiled rice noodle or spaghetti with a heart shaped froed egg in the bowl and another hard boiled on the serving tray. Tit bits and free beer prepaed for afternoon tea was extended to mid night cap. Appreciated most of all were the free porterage of our luggage through the steep alleys of the famous hillsides to and from our room.

GGuest UserThe place was amazing, I just loved it. I picked the room with the bathtub in the balcony and it was an amazing experience. The staff spoke basic English but they were very helpful and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The views were breathtaking, the room was well equipped and the breakfast was interesting (Chinese). If you want to enjoy your stay here please take my following tips into consideration:
- Leave your luggage at Kaili station or at the tourist center and take only the necessary time terms for your stay because you’ll have to take 2 buses and walk uphill on uneven stairs to come to this hotel (which doesn’t have elevators so more stairs to get to your room) it will be just hectic, so store your luggage and come here lightweight.
- Try to get in touch with the hotel before you arrive or connect with them via WeChat as the hotel is hard to find when you get off the bus at the stop, they will pick you up and take you to the hotel much is a few minutes aways.
- I was the first foreigner to stay here, as an international tourist, I’m sure you’ll love the place but keep in mind only a few people speak English here and the signs are in English and hotel staff will communicate using translator, it’s easy but be prepared
- keep in mind that the breakfast is Chinese not western so it includes noodles and vegetables no coffee here.

GGuest UserI have stayed in many B&Bs or hotels, big and small, but Qifengxin is really a warm and high-quality B&B.
Before arriving at Qianhu, the housekeeper Amu asked us about our arrival time. After arriving, he came to the ticket gate of the scenic spot to greet us. He helped us take all the boxes and luggage. This is so happy for us who have been running around for a day!
I like the design of the B&B very much. The toiletries and drinks are all branded products. The welcome fruit plate and breakfast plate are also carefully designed. The sound insulation effect is also very good, especially suitable for friends who want to rest and relax.
Of course, I decided to stay in Qifengxin because of its viewing balcony. It didn't disappoint me at all. The balcony of the hotel is better than the scenic spot, and there is no need to squeeze people~
Finally, thank the housekeeper Amu for taking care of us during our short stay. We feel very comfortable. I have never commented so seriously on the platform. Next time I have the opportunity to go to Qianhu again, I will still choose Qifengxin as always~

GGuest UserVery good location! Getting to the main village is pretty far from bus and car drop off at the tourist ticketing counter. You will have to take a bus and buggy in so carry light or something manageable as you will have to push them through uneven stones. Once you’re at the village, the hotel is just a few steps from the scenic drop off point.
Hotel staff is friendly, we were offered a complimentary cocktail drink and ethnic clothing rental at another outlet 50m away. It’s also near an ethnic clothing rental shop (it’s good, we’ve tried them), restaurant and village buggy point. We were grateful we’ve booked this place as we don’t have to push our luggages around further. Room was clean, aesthetic, with a good view of a plantation. Comes with amenities like bedroom slippers, a nice toiletry kit, fruits and snacks. Thank you for the warm hospitality Sanchunli! Hope these info help!

GGuest UserThe boss is very nice. He helped us carry our luggage up the mountain. We could also store our luggage when we left. He also helped us deliver our luggage to the entrance of the scenic spot. The service was very enthusiastic. The room was very clean, the decoration was simple and generous, and the whole house was intelligent. There was also a projector and a smart toilet. There was a large balcony outside the floor-to-ceiling window, and the scenery of the Miao village was in full view. The boss also made free breakfast in the morning. The minced meat noodles were delicious. There was also an observation deck in the store where you could take pictures. You didn't have to squeeze with others for the Internet celebrity camera position. In short, this experience was super good. I will recommend this place to my friends and family next time they come here.

VViola yanyanThe journey is over. This time, the stay in the B&B was still very good, and the service was also very good. Especially Xiao Wu and Xiao Yuan 😉 The pick-up service was very good. We didn't want to wait in line for the shuttle bus, so they walked with us to the place. The decoration style is also what I like, and the mountain view room is also quieter and not so noisy.

The first time I came to Qianhu Miao Village, I stayed at this Life Treasure B&B. After entering Miao Village, you can take the shuttle bus directly to the entrance of the B&B. The location is very close to the observation deck and far from the pedestrian street, but there is also a shuttle bus. , very convenient.
There are two large beds for the two of us! It is enough to sleep four people! This way, the average cost per person is just over 100, and there are beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows that can see the scenery of the entire Miao Village from a distance, which is really artistic.
Afternoon tea is also provided in the afternoon, with desserts, drinks, and fruits, and the presentation is exquisite. You can sit by the window for breakfast, and the window can be opened. It is so pleasant to eat a rich breakfast, look at the scenery of the Miao Village, and breathe the fresh air of the mountains!
The whole house is smart, and the curtains, lights, and air conditioners can be controlled by voice. I like the fact that there are two sinks. It is very convenient to put on makeup and other things with my sisters. I also like the oversized projection screen. It’s so comfortable to lie on the bed at night and watch the night view of Qianhu Miao Village! If you want to go to Qianhu Miao Village, you can really choose this hotel!

TTey katelynI love the view of the hotel, although some of the furniture's are a little bit torn in the living room but the ones in the room are clean and tidy !
The owner has a really cute corgi, and he's very friendly in guiding us despite calling him multiple times a day to ask him for direction , bus transfer, and luggage transfer.
I would recommend not to bring too heavy items like I did because the route to the hotel is a bit far and difficult until the bus station.
It's a really chill hotel that's near another viewing point for the paddy field . The design is good too!
Thanks to the kitchen , I managed to cook my own supper, and there's a convenience store right outside the hotel too.
