This inn and restaurant is so beautifully decorated. The artistry in the stone walls, walkways, plants, and cultural pieces is done tastefully and elegantly. We were very pleased with our one night stay after walking the Stone Forest for the day. It was a perfect days end and I suggest staying rather than boarding the bus. We walked the 1.8 km from the park ticket booth and bus area to this venue - easy to find (except that the pin on the map on Trip.com shows it on the opposite side of the road. Nevertheless, it was very easy to find from the pictures on the site by looking across the street.) We took the bus to Shilin and back to East Coach Station - super easy - 43 RMB each.

The B&B is very warmly decorated and very clean. It is very close to the Stone Forest Scenic Area and is a 5-10 minute drive away. The boss is a local expert and provided a lot of useful information. Thanks to the boss for coming to explore the Stone Forest under the sunset and giving us a new perspective. This trip to the Stone Forest was really worth the money!

Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

Great location just a short bus ride to the Shilin AAAAA Park. The bus stop is very close to Mijia Inn. On the same street are several places to eat, and around the corner is a shop to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. The room is spacious and very clean, with good air-con... it was very hot when we visited! Downstairs is a cafe with very good coffee and nice ambience. The owner is friendly, and altough she does not speak English, she is patient with my (very poor) Chinese, and she helped us to find the grocery shop, etc. In the room, there are slippers, shampoo, etc, and the hot water pressure is excellent. A very relaxing, quiet, and clean place to stay if you are visiting the rock forest or the nearby caves. It is a good value for the price.

This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

GGuest UserCome to Shilin for a business trip to the scenic spot to play, specially selected a little closer to the scenic spot, the front desk lady is very enthusiastic to check in, and intimately told me that the inn has free shuttle service and breakfast time, the room is particularly clean and bright, the facilities are quite new, The environment around the inn is very quiet and sleeps very comfortably at night! The main hygiene is also clean and tidy. The next day, I went to Naigu Stone Forest under the proprietress’s Amway. I happened to encounter the blooming season of Gesang Flower. GGuest UserWe set off from Maitreya and prepared to navigate to Shilin's homestay, only to find that it was cancelled by Trip.com , and we didn't call to inform. We quickly found a place to live. We were lucky enough to be missed here.
The owner of the hotel has two inns, and we live in the No. 2 store. The location is very good, just on the edge of the small square. There are also many restaurants nearby.
The environment of the homestay is very good, many foreigners come to live. The stone forest is very cool, and you have to cover the quilt at night.
We are a family of five booked two houses, the room was packed with TV set-top boxes that day, watching the Olympics is very cool.
The first three pictures are all on the second floor of the hotel. The fourth picture is the miscellaneous rice noodles eaten in the Ajie Mutton Restaurant in front of the square. I think it is delicious. The two-person package I ate at his house the night before was also very delicious.

The horse meat downstairs is really delicious and not expensive. I will recommend it to friends in the future. The room is clean and hygienic. The only problem is The good thing is that there are no windows, the sink has no floor drain, and the air conditioner in the room does not have a water outlet and is connected by a bucket. I heard the sound of dripping water all night, but it is good to book such a clean room at this price.
